10:34 From a logical standpoint, it makes sense not to add a high amount of real time shadows to the 7th guest. The story involves interaction with paranormal phenomena and spirits, which don’t have shadows.

Thanks for the shout out on resist! I love that game but didn’t realise it had a quest 3 update. You are correct it looks absolutely incredible. Can’t wait to play some more of it later
thanks, i really have to try " eye of the temple" now. What i find sad is that Moss1 didnt got a Quest 3 Update. I am sure they could push it nearly to PC Quality and it would be one of the most beautiful games out there. I bought Moss2 for PC and it was impressive how much better it looked with high resolution textures and effects.
Would be interested to see a comparison of PCVR vs MQ3 games. Oculus used to call it crossbuy. For example, which games that exist on both platforms are better to go the PCVR route.
I own a quest 3 but I still have my quest to and the price is dropping so low it's going to be hard to sell that thing soon it's already $200 in the store with a $50 gift card added to the headset so trying to sell your quest to you'll probably get like $150 for it put it towards the quest 3 because you know it's in the year The Quest 2 will be obsolete
Currently it's absolutely still worth it as most apps and games run fine on quest 2 and very few apps take full advantage of the extras the 3 provides BUT when it goes it's very noticable. First time VR user you got a deal just use it and in a few months you want more go for the 3 😊
I had a sulk after the Quest 2 came out so soon after Quest one. I've just bought a Quest 3 because the games are finally getting longer and deeper. I'm so glad that you're still making content, you were always my go to opinion for V.R gaming.
One thing about Arizona Sunshine 2 I hate are the disembodied hands. To me it adds so much to my feeling in the game when they have arms too. So many games have this I can't believe AZ2 went with the basic jank hands. :/
Resist is one of my favorites. I am still confused why it did not get more attention. I played it it on the Quest 1 first and even there it was great and one of the best looking experiences on that platform. I love that they keep updating.
I’m new to the Quest world having bought my Quest 3 a couple months ago. I can clearly see the difference, but the Quest 2 games were more than adequate. For me it’s not that important. The gameplay is more important. I think it’s fine that a game looks like a game and not total reality. Someday these games may be ported to Vision Pro, or Meta Quest may up there hardware in the not too distant future, but it won’t change the overall gameplay.
"Its hard to tell in this video" Because Saints & Sinners barely looks different. I tried it before they released the patch, was confused, then came back later. I still assumed they hadn't released the patch yet, but they had. Going to the specific spots they showed in the trailer? Yeah, they looked good. Most of it looked unchanged. Lol
I can't really see the difference as you decided to upload this video at 1080p. Both Quest 2 and 3 output at a higher resolution than that so unless you reload this at a higher resolution it's not really going to show the bump in resolution.
Wow, this game almost looks like for games from 10 years ago, not quite there, but who needs the minimum from 10 years ago when you can have less the that.
I just got Into the Radius on Quest 3 (after finally realizing it's NOT coming to psvr2 🥲) and can confirm it looks pretty good and runs well. Also it's easily one of the creepiest and most atmospheric VR games I've ever played. I'm only two hours in and I'm completely hooked and can't wait to get more weapons/gear and figure out just wtf even happened to that place. 😶🌫
If it is not on by default like it wasn't for me, make sure to turn on the full body model in settings. It makes it way more immersive. Fantastic game, and the sequel is about to come out in early access on Steam
Ocean Rift has impressed me, especially the mixed reality mode. Truly stunning
You missed In Death: Unchained. Shadows, lighting, reflections etc. Looks amazing
One of my first VR games ever and still one of my favorites to this day 3 years later
@@tranger79 same here
Same here, In Death is soo good
In Death is a great game. Does not get mentioned a lot but I loved it.
Best game on Quest (esp. in terms of replayability) and it was left off

Saving rendering power via lore.
Nice take!
Do you have proof that ghosts down have shadows?
@@livinagoodlife IDK. I don’t know if they are supposed to have shadows in 7th guest or not, there are a lot of different rules
The ghost in my house casts it's shadow. Ghost isn't totally transparent, ya know, thus able to shadow.
Imagine when headsets start to implement HDR.. that’s when we will be truly blown away

Light brigade on quest 2 also had some very aggressive foveated rendering which isn't in quest 3.

Love the quest 3
Does medal of honour work better now ?
Man, thank you so much for making this video.
I got a quest 2 256gb for £100 is it still worth keeping though
Yes, absolutely. Q2 is still fantastic
No sell it and add money and get the quest 3 , you’ll thank me later
Just sell it while it still has value, the 3 is better in every way and the quest 2 is very likely to lose support soon

Is it better in quest 3??? 😮😮
@@wellingtonalmeida2662 Yes
Does the quest pro also get these updates?
Quest pro is weaker than the quest 3 so I doubt it

Fps and resolution is all that matters for VR. PC to VR is night and day different to native VR.
I hope they don’t launch quest 4 in such a small time like it was for quest 2. Damn, 3 years after its launch quest 4 was announced
