The atmosphere their is amazing! Bobcat, what a beast of a tractor puller! I wish they did a euro vs USA super pull and do a home and away schedule. Would be epic.
Some of these four-engine beasts are quieter than the four-cylinder shitboxes that the local kids like to aggravate their neighbors with. No aggravating backfiring pops.
Being there is way diffrent, you can feel it and yes it is extremely loud. Ever been to a top fuel drag race? It's crazy how loud they really are in person.
Lol no way those blown v8’s make less noice than the neighborhood shit box. U can hear them start up way down the street let alone when they give it gas (I’m speaking on the tractors)
I remember BoBCat at sandwich fair many years ago he detained in IN Indiana for being over weight at the scale we waited 45 mins for him crowd roared as he hit entrance gate we bought VIP TICKETS IT WAS A GREAT DAY AWESOME PULLERS I HAD RARE FOOTAGE ANOTHER GREAT PULLERS WAS HENRY FAIR BOTH ILLINOIS LOUDEST SHOWS
NHRA top fuel and funny car could learn something these pullers .. Variety is the spice of life .. you only need two rules .. tires this big ,, weigh this much .
That's why tractor pulling in that corner of the planet is MUCH MORE popular than Drag racing. Our fellow drag racers here travel all over Europe for like a dozen events of which only a handful have a decent crowd. I can visit a tractor pull every summer weekend within 250 mls and never have less than 4000 spectators, most more like 8,000.
Watching this video enjoying the absolute ridiculousness of it; multiple big engines, multiple jet engine; WTF is next; someone mounting a literal nuclear power plant on the front? If so, the next guy would mount TWO nuclear power plants…
Well, if we could have figured that out, don't you think we would have? No, there are rules involved as committees have to approve what is considered safe. Radial engines are amazing, but they have come under scrutiny in the states. We do have to explore unknowns, but for the most part these vehicles need to weigh a certain amount. So this becomes function is how much power can we get versus how much it weighs versus the cost point versus the safety factor. Thanks for the comment, I like your thinking.
I want to see tractors like this but modified with 4wd so they have 4 giant tires 2 in the back, 2 in the front. I don’t know how they would fit in the rules?
As you have rightly suggested, it's not possible within the rules. That said, and it's hard to believe, even in much lower powered classes, where four-wheel drive is allowed, most don't use it. It has to do with the way, the sled is hooked to the tractors. The chain from the sled to the hitch is in an angle and what happens when the tractor starts to pull, is the chain is actually pulling down the hitch. This transfers weight from the sled pan to the rear tires (making the sled lighter and the tractor heavier) and basically lifts up the front axle, leaving it with way less traction that the rear axle. So four-wheel drive tractor-pulling vehicles (like the 4wd trucks) have to be built so light in the back and most of their weight in front of the front axle you can easily lift those up in the back by hand. Those vehicles are maybe up to 2500 hp and have much smaller wheels in the back. Now with big rear tires and more power, the force lifting the front axle is much higher. With the front wheels just "scratching" the track surface, they actually cause the rear tires to have less traction, actually, so much it gives less traction overall. If you check this video, where they run 4WD tractors, you can see how little the FW assists helps them: th-cam.com/video/go79GyAFif0/w-d-xo.html
What's with all the European garage lately? I remember when my neighbor took his pulling tractor over there and destroyed all those guys. Those were the days. I miss you Macon Bacon Special, now that is a true legend. Thank you Bruce and Jill !
We've got a European and a Brazilian team on board (EU writing here). When I was a kid, I had a poster of Macin' Bacon on the wall :). Great times! If you meant garbage: Look what they did to the US Champ: th-cam.com/video/qEW-ygISZ00/w-d-xo.html
I love watching the European tractor pulls. The atmosphere is amazing.

Their rules and weights are different than over here in the US.
pretty sure intertechno lambada did drive a year or two in the united states.

💯!!!
they need to stay off your lawn too right?

It sure is nice to see tractor-pulling from around the world! :)
This must be really popular where ever this is. They always have a crazy amount of fans that come to see them. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
It is in "Fürchtorf-Germany"
Total monsters 😮
Edit: you have to admire the engineering that goes into these wonder machines 😊
Some awesome tractors!
We agree!
and utilization of queen " we will rock you" : outstanding
ABSOLUTELY----> OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!. 🙂
it is like drag racing meets tractor pull!
good video but this announcer is laying it on thick damn!!!
Bobcat Senior...wow!
Why no diesels in this class ? Also, has anyone noticed these tractors don't seem to suffer from any RUD (Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly) ??
There is one with 2 JD blocks. It is called Bits N Pieces, but it suffered a rear axle issue earlier in the 2022 season.

984 👍's up WWPTV thank you for sharing 😎
I would like to have the money one of those tractors costs.
6:53 i think the sled was kinda light
Same at 5:12
No chance. 6:53, look at how soon the sled topped out! That tractor is tuned and pulls straight and fast. Appreciate a good tractor when you see one.
STRONG LIKE BULL

Sorry, I have to pull your "I know things about motors" card.
This is childish asf but I love it!
Stay childish at heart but keep an adult work ethic. This will take you far in life. Very far!
It should additional information like name of heavy modified tractor and what powerful of hp like 7,500hp like this okay

Chrysler Hemi power 1-2 ❤
A nitro funny car or nitro dragster is around 11-12,000 horsepower! With one motor.
I wish someone would take the microphone away from the german speaker....
Its legal at Europe? Breath in Europe its illegal
I feel sorry for the people their having to Leason to a annoying AF loudmouth playing music !!!
The music actually is one of the reasons, why they have over 20,000 people at the pull during the weekend. Huge party...
lols no country and western here and a lot less half assed tractors like in the 'merican pulling videos
i feel sorry for you

I remember the Makin' Bacon Special. Bruce Hutcherson and 4 Rodecks. Pretty close dominant in the early 80's.
😏This place isn't in broke ass America under the Brandon Administration. This must be near Ukraine where America's money is going.
you seem scared and insecure
