- We've stumbled upon yet another uncommon motorsport that people pour their heart and souls into, tractor pulling! In this episode of 1320Experiences we find ourselves in our home state of Nebraska! Not many people think of big money when it comes to tractor pulling, but they are sorely mistaken! Some of these rigs have an INSANE amount of money into them. We saw the craziest setups of any motorsport we've ever witnessed. There were triple motors setups, dual helicopter turbines, dual twin turbo LS motors, massive v8's from a tank, rolls Royce v12, Allison v12's from aircrafts, and the list goes on and on! We had an absolute blast watching these things pull an INSANE amount of weight down the track.

You guys need to make a trip to bowling green Ohio. You think these setups are crazy, wait till you’re in BG. Some tractors have 5 big blower motors
This going to be a top comment the challenge is out Ohio did yall ain’t shit
From Ohio.... can confirm!
Every single Midwestern state and Nordic country is going to have the same comment
Admittedly, I have definitely been to pulls with a lot of 10k+ HP set-ups. Not seeing those here.
I'm from Bowling Green
I'm from Bowling Green Ohio and it will be the wildest thing you ever see
I love these 1320Experiences. All aspects of motorsports deserve some time in the spotlight!
My favorite other than the street stuff
Agree!
ABOUT DARN TIME, there's quite a few really high quality tractor pull channels I follow. Glad to see you covering these.
Can you suggest a few
@@Berm_Blaster my personal fav is "Thurston Pulling Photos"
but theres also "Hooked Up Pulling Productions", and "WWPTV Video" which are more popular. Hope that helps!
Sooo happy to see these guys put eyes on our sport!!!!!
@@BUILTDIESELMAFIA oh man!! I was one copy + paste short of adding your channel. Thanks for what you do!!
@@Labergemusic i like BCP
back channel productions
Absolutely love that you guys came and covered this event and put eyes on these awesome machines. This sport is near and dear to our hearts obviously. Hope you enjoyed your time out there!!!
A bit criminal to wait all this time and then go through the pits like, look at these unique engines.
*Yes... we know. YOU are the late-comer.*
What a drag!
Dude at the beginning was as cool as they come. A guy like that brings people into the sport.
Thanks
Yes. I have that feeling but I can't explain it till you explained it.
Tractor pulls never get old. Nor the food. Went to national sanctioned events as an 8 yr old kid 37 years ago and I need to get back in person.
The kid with the 2 Allison V12s is the son of one of my college auto tech instructors at NECC in Norfolk. 10 years ago they built a tractor with five 6.0LS engines on it and I did the head work on them for extra credit!
We were glad to have 1320video at the pull, i had a blast with the interview!
sometimes i wish that 1320 Crews had a decibel reader with them to show how loud the engines are...
I’m a photographer for a lot of these events and I keep the dB sensor on my Apple Watch all year long. Pretty sure the highest number I’ve ever seen trackside was in the low 130s. Thank God for earplugs.
You would be surprised... the v8 na or blown engines are the LOUD ONES... the V12 Allison's really aren't that bad.... 😕
We did it at the NHRA finals, it maxed it out in the stands 😂😂
The blown v8's are around 115 dB wide open and 95 dB at idle. The multi engine modifieds with 3-4 hemi's I am guessing altogether are above 140+ dB. They go above the threshold level of pain for hearing.
"Hear the Power. Feel the Noise"
Please give the cabover man a sticker what a legend 🤜
Amazing & imaginative build.
Absolutely
Scottie is the nicest cat in the world, too. Super-good dude.
Funny how before i got into cars and specifically being a jdm head, i grew up watching tractor pulls on OLN and SpeedVision. Those rigs are simply incredible!
You guys definitely gotta get to Bowling Green or a place like that for a big NTPA pull!
Excellent video as always!
4x4 super stocks are some of my favorite looking trucks ever, my dad took us to tractor pulls all over eastern NC when we were little. Best times ever!
NC boy myself and my Dad did the same. Greensboro Coliseum was freaking awesome, State Fair in Raleigh was good back in the day, and I can't remember what small towns we went too. Childhood memories though
Hell yeah! I was further east, never been to Greensboro but other than the state fair I remember the Pinetops 300 and Williamston the most!
@@Lawaxiee Hearing that in a coliseum was freaking awesome. It was way better than the outdoor stuff
Finally! This is a VERY popular sport in Europe. Draws bigger crowds than drag racing where I come from…
Thanks for covering this!
Where? It’s really popular in the USA too. Mainly midwestern states like Iowa, Ohio, Wisconsin, etc. Farmland.
never heard of this in europe
@@George-ml5rsgoing for over 40 years, on several TV stations, …
It’s pretty concentrated in the northern-western part though.
@@George-ml5rsvery popular in the Netherlands. Started with farmers wanting to test their own skill and power of their tractors. In summer there's events almost every weekend throughout the country. Inter techno lambada (Dutch team) went to the us and absolutely dominated there.
@@boofingenthusiast Netherlands and Germany, look up Green Monster Team for example, 3 Allison setup
Three words: Bowling Green, Ohio
I loved this video. Sometimes I forget that the motorsport is still so unknown. I've been around pulling my entire life, I know no difference. Your reactions to some of the setups were cheerful to watch.
Fort Recovery, OH ! Not the same size facility as BG but pound for pound = or better than BG any day.
My grandpa pulled for 20 plus years and it’s always been a part of our family here in Ohio, I was really happy to see this posted on here!
That dude with the Rolls-Royce tractor has That engine timed too a knats ass! When you hit the key and it fires up immediately! You got to know it doesn't get much better than that my friend! 🤗
We need " dont worry ,I'm TH-cam certified" shirts and stickers!
Tractor pull guys seem like the best people.
You guys seriously need to do one of them deep dive at home interviews on these pullers that you was doing with the drag & drive cars
💯 would watch.
I remember seeing Tractor Pulls on TV when I was a kid, but I have to admit I kind of forgot they exist. Now as an adult who enjoys drag racing, seeing the amount of thought, engineering, and obvious passion that goes into these machines is insane.
I can't help but wonder how those multi-engine setups sync the output shafts into one single drive shaft, and from considerably different angles at that!
I love it when you cover these weird and wonderful drag racing events. The semi trucks and the RC cars etc!
Some of these tractors look nuts!!!
I'm honestly amazed you guys are just now getting around to tractor pulls between all the engine combos and the sounds of engines screaming wide-open figured this would get covered sooner
I see 1320and Fred and I click. Much love to the crew for bringing pulling to the 1320 tribe!!
That Mustache knows more about motors than I ever will. 24:34
That truck is beautiful.
That Cab Over truck was one of the coolest things ever
I gotta tell you, I just love power. I've come to realize no matter wth it is- its just awesome. My heart lies with the full hooded tractors with big diesels. The amount of variety overall just makes this sport so enjoyable for me.
Please keep showing us random Motorsports videos. This is seriously one of the longest, best OG TH-cam channels
This is that “just sold off a little piece of my farm, only 2000 acres” kind of money
I think the fuel truck thing is my favorite one.
Looks like we’re watching 320 video!!
I was trying to figure in my head and thought to 320 of 1320 equation, thank-you!
So glad you guys are covering this. Yall have to be the best overall well rounded motorsports group out there.
20:16 these 4x4 trucks are my favorite to watch. Those things get down.
I grew up with this stuff. Really cool to see you guys exposing others to it. Motorsports!
There's a whole 🌎 of horsepower waiting for 1320 video's!!
I really like the way you cut this video: first you introduce the tractor, then you show ist's run, then you introduce the next one and so on. This makes a really nice presentation. Thank you for this work.
Cleetus would love the chinook engines hands down.
Get them Farmers some recognition boys... this makes me so happy
This event is only 60 miles from me. I've been going to pulls since the late 70's. There is nothing like it !
WOW!!! What a OUTSTANDING VIDEO. From the interviews, the explanation of what we were looking at, the power of these machines, all the way to the end of the track!!!! Just WOW!!! I grew up on a farm, went to plenty of tractor/truck pulls, so I had a good understanding of what was going on!! BUT you all knocked this out the park!!!!
So happy 1320 FINALLY recognizes these MEGA HORSEPOWER tractors for their insanity 🙂
Thank you for explaining, I never knew why the tractors would stop, but now I see it's the weight transfer making it harder as it goes. Love the videos!
I'm glad 1320 is covering other motorsports.
Been watching tracker pulls ... All my life ,,, even went to a few of them as a kid ... But you guys answered more good questions ,,, than I ever knew ... Thanks a lot ...
So much fun watching you in the trucks and tractors. Talking to the builders and drivers well done.
The engineering feat that these tractor/truck guys do is unreal. Always loved going to the local tractor/truck pulls.
You all need to go and see the Hotrod Semi and the unlimited modified classes in person.... Those truly shake the ground.... They are the 2 highest horsepower classes in pulling.....
I miss tractor races and mud bogs. Haven’t been in years but I’m so glad you guys did this. Good shit guys, good shit.
This video has shown me that tractor pull guys are the coolest in all of Motorsport
Oh hell ya, now we're playin with power! Please cover more of these, these tractors are insane. I grew up in NE OH with these tractor competitions and always believe they don't get the coverage they deserve. From fabrication and variety of powertrains, to insane numbers and those sounds. These are the whole package.
Those aircraft engines sound amazing!
Tractor pulls are 110% Merica, glad to see you guys checkin it out.
That COE is probably the coolest automotive build ive seen yet.
I love being taken and shown different Motorsports. Thank you and please do this again
Love it! Pulling has needed the 1320 treatment.
I love how y'all cover so many different types of motor sports
Adding see a tractor pull to my bucket list
I've been watching tractor pulls since I was knee-high to a grass hopper, and this is probably the best coverage I've ever seen of an event. Well done, 1320!
I've been in love with the V12 Allisons and Rolls Royces since I was a kid and saw them at tractor pulls. It's cool that they're still around and younger guys are keeping them alive and kicking. My FAVORITE sound is of the multi jet engine tractors. That crazy whine was they spool up and down is unlike anything else! The diversity of power plants is what I love most about the sport. That COE Fuel truck was my favorite of the video. Never seen such a crazy setup before!
I love tractor pulls, so glad you guys did it and brought your editing touch for us to watch it smoothly
You guys definitely need to do more tractor pulls..or start a sister channel or just tractor pulls.. either way more TRACTOR PULLS 🚜🚜🚜 awesome!!!
Ive wished someone would do this kind of up close coverage and explanation's of what these crazy builds are forever.
More tractor pulls please!!!! These machines are amazing!
3:59 I can't be the only one who got chills and giggled at the sound of that engine 😂
I've been to a LOT of tractor pulls over the decades and watched a lot of pulling channels on TH-cam, but 1320video came into their coverage with fresh eyes and made a video that I got a lot out of. I don't get to Nebraska to see pulls, so the machines I hadn't seen before.
I had no idea that turbo LS's were a thing in light modified pulling.
I had never seen a RR Griffon pull in person. They are pretty popular in European tractor pulling.
The guy with the turbo-Hemi fuel truck had it all figured out. The joystick steering blows my mind, and he's been using it for years. Smart guy.
You guys need to get to a pull with Unlimited Super Stocks or Light Super Stocks. Those run diesel engines converted to spark-ignition methanol with multi-stage turbos. That's a style of engine that you won't see in drag racing, and tractor pullers have been running those for 40 years.
It's awesome to see 1320 covering tractor pull events and vehicles. I love it.
I'm calling it now, within 5 yrs, cleetus will be doing this.
1320 really dragged us to some great racing this week. This is awesome content.
I watched these things as a kid with my dad and they have everything an engine-dude can dream of. Absolute nasty builds !!!
As a puller myself it’s cool to see you all experience it loved the video
That Griffon Growl is the coolest rig in pulling. Glad to see them get some coverage.
26:00 that thing was like a space ship 😂😂
Looks like a ride at Disney 😂
This is a big sport in the Netherlands. With much more hp and more engines should be cool if you visit!
I would absolutely LOVE to get one of the events up there!!
That would be truly amazing!!!!
yeah they get bigger at other north american events. like 6 HEMI engines or 3 turbines!!
The guy with the twin chinook engines wears a Lambada T-shirt!
its also quite big in Denmark, we also see alot af dutch tractors at events here in Denmark, you can tell by there wooden shoes :)
That was insane. And in 1320's backyard, too. I never looked at tractor pulling, really. Stuff is so cool.
I loved these growing up in the 80s they were always with monster truck shows.
Yo - finally some tractor pulls!
Really appreciated!
We’re a German Tractor Pull podcast and live streaming channel here on YT.
Honestly, this is super cool! The engine diversity is awesome!! Insane power.
these guys have alot of love for these builds. its awesome getting to see them happy to share. how many other events have u gone to that the owners asked u to sit in the drivers seat to give u an experience of what it feels like, hell the one guy let u sit in it while he started the engines, the guy got to feel an engine that most ppl only got to feel while fighting in a war. insanely friendly group of ppl.
I've been a little turned off with street stuff, while cool, just after years it becomes all the same rerun. But I couldn't not watch this one, and I'm so glad I did. Didn't disappoint at all! 👍
Should have talked to the Super Stock tractor owners at the end.
Those guys have compound turbos pushing 200psi into the motor.
Then the piston comes up and combusts.
Insane stuff going on inside those cylinders.
Perhaps a part two…(?)
They did interview Doug Meissinger, arguably one of the most consistent diesel supers on the planet over the past few years, while they were there.
Loving all the different types of racing coverage lately guys! Yall keep it all up!
Ah nostalgia. I grew up in the country, went to the county fair every year. I remember watching these insane monsters tear up the dirt while they rip that sled down the line. My neighbor used to build 3000 hp tractors in his barn. Miss those days. I like these unconventional events you’ve been covering. 👍
this is doing more for motorsports than anything in the history of motorsports. i watch more types of racing now after being introduced to it through 1320 an cleetus than i ever would have imagined. i knew they existed b4 but was never interested in them enough to even consider trying to follow them but now i get introduced to them with a good look at the vehicles an these are by far some of the coolest designs and variety of types of builds engine combo an just one off custom designs to make the stuff work is awesome to get to see it but get some story behind them, just makes you have a better understanding an more interested in watching each an every one make its pass. keep it up an i think u guys should go out an start going to as many different types of motorsport events as u can just to help introduce ppl to whats out there cause i know theres alot ive never even seen or heard of b4 and i would consider myself someone who follows an watches this stuff so spread the word.
Dude, I've loved tractor pulls ever since I was a 6 year old kid. Back in the day, hearing the engines going all out reverberating through a concrete grandstand or stadium was intense. Jet engines, Allisons, Rolls Royce, Hemis, Chevys, backyard junkers with beer cans falling out, it was always a great time. Tractor pulls used to be a huge event. Right around this time was the birth of the OG monster trucks, got to see the OG Bob Chandler Bigfoot and Dennis Anderson Grave Digger and all those awesome old trucks. There is still a huge crack in the cement wall where Dennis Anderson crashed at my local fairgrounds. They would run them at the end of the night after the pulls, hell sometimes they would even hook up to the sleds and do a pull. Always cool to see someone get into this sport and see how insane some of these tractors are.
Great coverage!! Thanks for adding this!!
I so loved this episode!!! I have been going to pulls since I was a kid and have friends pulling now and just enjoyed the honest enthusiasm of this majestic Motorsport!!
Absolutely love watching tractor pulls! So happy yall are checking em out!
Big tractor pulls like that are so awesome. Love seeing stuff like this from you all!
Love the content. Glad to see your finally showing other motorsports that some of us enjoy and that people may not know that is out there.
That was a sweet change of pace from the usual, awesome guys!
Thank you for bringing this one. Good to see such a variety of kit . And to hear the breakdowns by the owner/drivers was really interesting. Keep up the fantastic content and Happy New Year to you all.🎉
Love this! I've seen pulls but an up-close look at the engines is awesome
Love me some tractor 🚜 pulls. Loving the variety from you guys now. Thanks.
Got dang bruther this is so cool! Those WW2 allisons were incredible
Thanks for sharing this content. Awesome job on this video. The vintage airplane motors are awesome!
Awesome content. Im not really into tractor pulls but i love learning about the motors they run
The evolution of tractor pulling is wild. Started with fresh from the field tractors to this. This is great and I still enjoy the farmer pulls as well. Nice work!
awesome content, loving the variety. good work 1320
Thank you for going to a tractor pull. Some of the wildest rides you will ever see!
Great coverage, enjoyed every minute!
Great work filming and commentary, loved the content!
This was a treat!
One thing though... I hope you guys can get some expert audio advice on how to better record these really loud engine sounds.
That amazing Griffon turns up at the line. Listening to this on a decent pair of over-ear headphones and you can really hear a deep earthquake-like rumble. But as the throttle opens and that thing approaches the camera the mic just says _"Nope, I'm not doing this!"_ and drops the low frequencies. Same for the Allison and that twin blown hemi. Once the decibels go up, the microphone (or the audio processing behind it) drops the bass and after that the lower mid too.
It would be awesome if you can get a suitable low sensitivity high dynamic range mic to capture those magnificent roars!
I agree, but I’m not sure such a mic actually exists. I’m on the sidelines every weekend with a camera and for some of these classes, you’ll see 125-130dB standing where they were. It sucks, too, because they sound SOOOO good!
@@ryanroossinck7431 They do! Those are known as High SPL microphones, or high sound pressure level microphones.
But the one example I found for "up to 150 dB" was already listed as US$ 1250. Model RG-50HL is an analogue mic with a range of 5 Hz - 30 kHz, so you also need a recorder that can do analogue to digital.
