    James Riddle Hoffa (born February 14, 1913; disappeared July 30, 1975, declared dead July 30, 1982) was an American labor union leader who served as the President of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) union from 1957 until 1971. Hoffa married Josephine Poszywak, an 18-year-old Detroit laundry worker of Polish heritage, in Bowling Green, Ohio, on September 24, 1936; the couple had met during a non-unionized laundry workers' strike action six months earlier. The couple had two children: a daughter, Barbara Ann Crancer, and a son, James P. Hoffa.
    John Zachary DeLorean (January 6, 1925 - March 19, 2005) was an American engineer, inventor and executive in the US automobile industry, widely known for his work at General Motors and as founder of the DeLorean Motor Company.
    Jack Kevorkian (/kɪˈvɔːrkiən/; May 26, 1928 - June 3, 2011) was an American pathologist and euthanasia proponent. He is best known for publicly championing a terminal patient's right to die by physician-assisted suicide, embodied in his quote "Dying is not a crime". Kevorkian claimed to have assisted at least 130 patients, to that end. He was often portrayed in the media with the name of "Dr. Death". There was support for his cause, and he helped set the platform for reform.
    John James "Jack" Adams (June 14, 1894 - May 1, 1968) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player, coach and general manager in the National Hockey League and Pacific Coast Hockey Association. He was a Hall of Fame player during a 10-year professional career with Toronto, Vancouver and Ottawa.
    Lido Anthony "Lee" Iacocca (/ˌaɪ.əˈkoʊkə/ EYE-ə-KOH-kə; October 15, 1924 - July 2, 2019) was an American automobile executive best known for the development of Ford Mustang and Pinto cars, while at the Ford Motor Company in the 1960s, and for reviving the Chrysler Corporation as its CEO during the 1980s. He was president and CEO of Chrysler from 1978 and chairman from 1979, until his retirement at the end of 1992. He was one of the only executives to preside over the operations of two of the Big Three automakers.

    IT IS VER DISREPCTFUL TO WALK ON PEOPLE'S GRAVES

    • @SCOTTONTAPE
      @SCOTTONTAPE  3 ปีที่แล้ว +57

      Respect is in the heart, not only in the physical actions of a person. I try to avoid stepping on people’s graves or walking on them but often times that is the only way to read the headstone and as well, a lot of graves are close together. I’ve seen family members picnicking on graves , sitting, singing, you name it. I know every bit of cemetery etiquette and I adhere to it at all times. Originally, the only reason people were discouraged from walking on a grave was as to not disturb the casket below, as for years people were put in the ground without a concrete vault to protect the casket, and subsequently standing on a grave could allow it to cave in. And how do you think groundskeepers mow the graves ? When you visit a cemetery, it’s all about basic human decent. I hope I cleared that up for you.
      And no need to yell Ginger. All caps is not necessary. Have a great weekend and merry Christmas ✌🏽✌🏽

      @@SCOTTONTAPE I used to feel that way about walking on someone's grave but sometimes the graves are so close together you can't help it, especially when you visit a small family cemetery. When I would go and visit family members and you have to clean up around the grave, or put some flowers on it, I'm sure my Dad would forgive me for stepping on his grave. Besides there are no sidewalks or walking paths in any cemeteries that I've been to.

How anyone can call helping someone out of their "misery" murder is beyond me. We don't let our beloved fur babies suffer, but are willing to let one another. Never has and never will make sense to me. I know, if it was me, I would want someone to help me, but I doubt that will ever happen, not in my lifetime sadly, maybe never at all :( Anyhoo, Happy New Year Scott for 2020 and beyond :) ~Karin~

    You missed the grave of Robert Beaglehole. John DeLorin gave the eulogy at Bob's funeral. Both loved high performance cars and creating them. Bob frequently raced his red Corvette at the Detroit Motor Speedway. His cars were untouchable and his mechanical knowledge lead him to a management position with General Motors.

    Scott, a lot of my family is buried in that cemetery. I went this weekend to find those graves. I could not find Iacocca. You mention he had not grave stone yet, but I have seen pictures of it. Still could not find the grave. Wonder if he was moved. Found the others. Did not even see the bench. Will look for it next time. Was it in front of the mausoleum?

    Hi Scott nice video. What year was it that Jimmy Hoffa went missing? John DeLorean definitely had a big impact it's too bad it wasn't more successful. Lee Iacocca... Every time I see a minivan I think of that man. That was a big deal when the minivans came out in the early 80s he definitely helped Chrysler with sales to say the least. Thanks again Scott. See you later!

      Hoffa went missing in 1975. It's no surprise that his wife only died a few years later she must have been absolutely devastated.
