According to Graphtec, this is the acceptable media type and thickness for the CE7000:
"Self-adhesive marking film (vinyl, fluorescent, reflective) excluding high-intensity reflective film, up to 25 mil (.63mm) Stencil material"

Media Types: Up to 0.25mm thickness - Marking film (PVC / fluorescence / reflection), polyester film (With specified conditions)

Why would the CE 7000 cut slowly?

You can control the cut speed of the CE7000. So if it's cutting slow, it probably just needs to have that setting adjusted.
