LOL, my mind completed his sentence when he said "winglets" with "for greater efficiency and performance"... only for his actual words to have nothing to do with anything technical. I just can't believe the engineers would add them for just looks, neither can I believe they would not affect how the plane performs, for better or worse depending on the design of them.
So, any benefits besides the looks for the winglets? I don't understand why they didn't do all this with the Gen2. The two disappointments with the Gen2 were the lack of a Garmin upgrade and winglets.
The Gen 3 CJ3/4 seem awfully close to one another now. Too close to justify two models / assembly lines / certs, etc. Maybe the CJ3 may is nearing end of life?
I wonder why Textron say they "completely re-engineered the flight deck," including an "all new user interface (touchscreen interface)." 1:22 If I were looking for a new aircraft, having a completely unfamiliar interface would add retraining costs and also risk. Airliner manufacturers go to great lengths to avoid exactly this.
More tax deductible biz jets for corporations to write off on their taxes and use them for family vacations. Then ensure they’re “Private” on Flight Aware.
You're totally correct. Nobody has the right to own anything expensive. General aviation planes and luxury cars and boats should not exist. Just because you can't afford them and you're envious. The horror!
Winglets for added ramp presence. Do me a favor.

Garmin is not an upgrade. They just ruined a perfectly good airplane with those Garmin avionics...

Think of all the greasy smudges...
Painfully out of touch
