  • A lot of organizations and companies want to transform themselves. And if you want to transform you have to think outside the box, right? Maybe not always. In this funny, insightful and thought-provoking talk leadership expert Lars Sudmann lays out why thinking INSIDE the box can drive transformation. After exploring the typical pain points of transformation he shows 3 surprising and actionable boxes that everybody can employ for their own teams and organizations. Lars Sudmann speaks, writes and consults on leadership, change and innovation. His work focuses on what leaders and entrepreneurs need to navigate today’s complex world. He draws on his experience as a former corporate executive as well as on his roles as startup advisor, university lecturer and corporate transformation council director. Lars was featured in international media such as Fast Company, the Chicago Tribune, Inc., BBC Capital and many more. Lars Sudmann speaks, writes and consults on leadership, change and innovation. Thank you so much Lars. I’m in the midst of inheriting a non performance team who basically lacks motivation and trust. And I’m tasked to transform the team. Your sharing motivated me and given me confidence.

I got a training from my company and I have to comment about your explanation. This looks interesting but I currently don’t have enough energy to focus on your presentation; it’s midnight here.
I’ll come back later this morning.
Time box, Space box, Ritual box, Sand box.
If there’s other people from my company also stumbling upon this comment, please say hi.

This presentation confirms my belief that often limitations (a box) inspires better thinking - so true! We need to challenge the old mantra of innovation!

Great presentation. In my 20 years of transforming companies, it's a fact you should "make it small to achieve big goals" (almost a 6 word sentence ;-) )

Very entertaining yet inspiring speech, Lars! It is very true that we need boxes to protect us in order to focus. I have noticed myself that I have to turn my phone to airplane mode to properly focus at the task at hand. Keep this stuff coming!
