    It’s actually cheaper to book to Uganda or Rwanda than booking a straight flight to Kenya. All you need to do is have a return ticket.

    Can we get our yellow fever card at the airport? Cause I see you filling out a yellow card. And now that the world is COVID-19 free, do I still need to provide COVID vaccine cert???

    You are 52 years old? Not kidding, but honestly l thought until you said your age while filling the paperwork at the airport that you were in your twenties! I was way off 😂

    • @TheVeraFrank
      @TheVeraFrank  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      😂😂😂 I was kidding. I also asked if I could write that I’m a Kenyan citizen. 😂😂😆

    Why did you go to the airport so early if you live in Lagos? Isn’t the airport in Lagos? You arrived more than 8 hours before your flight was to leave!

    • @TheVeraFrank
      @TheVeraFrank  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don’t live in Lagos. I actually traveled to Lagos from a different city. I arrived way early but I was calm😁 & that was the goal. It would have sucked trying to get to Lagos from a different city, then getting stuck in traffic.
      I also felt there was no need to try to sort out accommodation in a hotel since I could just be at the airport & be 💯 sure I won’t miss my flight. Lagos can be a crazy city sometimes. One could be 5 minutes away from the Airport & their flight check-in closes resulting in missing the flight due to traffic.
      It has happened to me before, so I always pick being safe to being sorry. 😁

    Please how much would it cost me from Lagos to Kenya....how can I get my yellow card ?

    • @TheVeraFrank
      @TheVeraFrank  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Dennis, I don't know the current flight costs & how much it would cost on your intended travel date, but you can check that on either Kenya Airways or Ethiopian Airline website. That way, you'll get the accurate flight cost.
      For the Yellow Card, firstly, you have to visit yellowcardnigeria.com/ register, generate the invoice, and make a payment of about N2000 online or at the bank shown on the invoice. You can get the Yellow Fever vaccine and card at all Port Health Service offices in Nigeria and all Federal Secretariats. I got mine at a Port Health office in a Federal secretariat at Ibadan.
      In Lagos, the Ikeja Port Health office is located at Airport Rd, beside the toll gate on your way to the International Airport. You can also get the vaccine and Yellow Card at Apapa Sea Port, Tincan Island Sea Port, Idiroko border, Seme border. I'd actually advise you to get it at a Port Health Office though, before your trip. I hope this helps.

      Nope. We don’t gate-keep here. I genuinely missed the question.

    • @TheVeraFrank
      @TheVeraFrank  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It was a simple and straightforward process.
      I just visited www.ecitizen.go.ke
      - Created an account
      - Selected the East African Tourist Visa option which covers Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda. (Multiple entry)
      - There are other options like the single entry option depending on your need.
      - I filled all the forms on the website, uploaded the necessary documents like flight booking, accommodation, and Itinerary,
      - Made payment, and the Visa was sent to my mail within 3 days.
      - I printed it out and showed it at the airport in Nigeria, then when I arrived Kenya, I went to the immigration desk and showed it too. They collected it, then pasted an East African Tourist Visa stamp on my Passport and that was it.
      With that, I could go into Rwanda, Kenya, and Uganda with that stamp anytime within 3 months.
      This was in 2023. You could check for the current requirements online or still via the website.
      Apologies for the late response.
