    I'm planning on going to Nairobi for a few days next month before I fly out to Eldoret for a High altitude camp. I have a few questions:
    1. Are Drivers License from USA a good form to show identification? I'm too weary of taking my passport out to places.
    2. What do you recommend for public transportation?
    3. What are the best places for currency exchange?
    4. Is Jambojet the best flight to take for roundtrips between Nairobi and Eldoret?
    5. Does the National Park have closeup encounters with Cheetahs? I'm actually very excited to see one closeup.

    The Carnivore restaurant serves game meat, not bush meat as a West Afrikan might think. Just to clarify.
    So no monkey business

    I am Kenyan and love your eloquence. Welcome again. You have displayed a very good grasp of the Kenyan tourism menu despite your short stay here. Kenyans and their big brother Nigerians have alot in common.
    Welcome again

    Thanks for the detailed video. Please are there any companies or agencies in Kenya that offer the complete tour guide package depending on your budget and how long you want to stay?
    Please share contact or website address. Thanks so much.

      You're absolutely welcome. About the agencies, I'm sure there are, but sadly, I do not know any of them as I planned the whole trip myself. I'll certainly find out, and when I do, I'll drop the information by responding to your comment here.

    Tourism safari business is expensive everywhere in africa or otherwise.. especially with natural reserves & parks. So the fees go a long way. Glad you enjoyed your visit. Your vlog is superb

    • @TheVeraFrank
      @TheVeraFrank  ปีที่แล้ว

      Right? Well, that’s why I get it in a way. It’s business & profit must be made. That way, the tourism sector doesn’t collapse.

    Hope they half a different entry fee for africans

    • @TheVeraFrank
      @TheVeraFrank  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, they do. Although the price for East African citizens and the rest of Africa are quite different.

  • @stephanieukandu
    @stephanieukandu ปีที่แล้ว +1

    The fact that they have different prices for residents and non residents is very irritating! I love to visit Kenya but the price discrimination is annoying.

    • @TheVeraFrank
      @TheVeraFrank  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I understand how you feel & I also understand the need for making money from their tourism sector. However, I also feel the prices for foreign tourists is exorbitant. It’s well sha.
