Ur in Washington and what you use ur bike for it doesn’t matter what people think. Stay safe keep riding. I’ve been riding for 32 years and I do what I do
How does the 170 feel on the rear tire bro? I just got the Michelin Road 6 mounted on my Ninja 500 160/60 and I definitely feel the difference in turns but its honestly nothing dramatic, I commute daily on my bike for work and deliveries so these Michelin Road 6 with serve its purpose for many miles to come. And i agree with you 1000% percent its your bike, you do as you please on your build. The bigger tire also makes the bike pops aesthetically for sure. I'm also gonna go one size up for the front tire. Going from 110/70 to 120/70. But yeah, lol hows the 170 on the rear handling?
I put the same sizes Of tires on My Ninja 400 too (battlax ax41s Bridgestone). But, what results did You get? Did You Lose speed and gained grip? Cheers
Good video and thanks, I'll be needing new tires soon, not sure which to get just yet. But on a side note, I just ordered a Toce Exhaust with the flash tune to get rid of these UGLY stock exhausts.
Do you not have to take off/loosen your calipers to take your wheels off? (I'm getting new tires next week and learning). Also the meatier tires look so much better and i imagine much more smoother.
Bro def grab a white one and do a sticker delete I like black too but I think white breaks up better it’s safer for night riding and I think white makes it look bigger too. I want white black or krt edition
I’m sry but if you have to start ur video off defending ur self then times are bad. Video was informative and in my opinion great for people wanting to know tire sizes. Ty
On my Ninja 400 I went 120 in the front and 160 for the rear. Honestly amazing I wouldn’t go higher. I can imagine how cool the 170 looks like but 160 and 120 are very noticeable and don’t take away from the performance, I do feel a little more planted on the ground probably due to a little more weight and surface space. One up guys and gals that’s it.
Im also planning to upsize to 120 and 160 but keep thinking of the possible issues like performance loss, handling, tip in. But afer reading your comment, i might go for it planing to get the t32 from Bridgestone
Not required. A lot of guys have gone to 160 rear tire with a stock front. But because the 170 tire is much taller than stock I wanted to get a larger front as well so that he bike wouldn't have too much of a downward rake.
Good looking bike and i love your new tire choice! Have a great time riding and be safe. God bless you my friend
Good for you! Do what you want with your own bike, car or what have you! There will always be people saying do this, do that, don't do that! 👍

whats your opinion after 10 months in
Nice 400 friend. Clean. Miss mine even with my 636
What's the size of the rear rim? Your bike looks cool man.
I put the same sizes Of tires on My Ninja 400 too (battlax ax41s Bridgestone).

Are you sure the front tire is mounted in the correct way regarding the rotation?
It didn’t get any werid feedback from the bike? I’ve been reading that going to that big of tire would case issues
Quick question, if I put a 160 in the rear tire and keep stock front tire will that still be good ?
That will work just fine.
I love it very nice 👍
Hey, so do u have an update on these size tires? I recently did the same, do u think it handles the same? What psi do u run in these?

Nice video and nice bike!! I also have a 400 and im debating how much i wanna go up. Still satisfied with the size up? Thanks!
Looks clean..
I really like the white without the decals. might consider buying white instead of black. both beautiful
Can't go wrong either way!
I like the blue they had

Sweet man

170/60r17 rear
120/70/17 front
Hi sir is possible I can do this to my 2022 ninja 400 160/60 Dunlop tires without any problems thank you so much
Yeah going up by 10 won't hurt at all, he went up 20 with no problem
Some headache Motorcycle shop told me cannot but I I’ve been watching you it’s ok
What are those stands? I want some 😂
What’s the size of the front bro
Now try 130/70/17 on the front i wanna see please
does this throw the speedometer off because the rear radius is larger?
No effect on speedo that I've noticed. I've found that Google maps MPH matches my speedo.
Does 180/60 rear can it???????????
Will this be the same for the z400
@0zzy_229 yes identical.
@@BillyOnroad Ty for the reply new set up looks way better 😎

Did you also have to get a new wheel that will fit the tire?
Stock wheel
@BillyOnroad that's amazing I want to try this
@@BillyOnroad is the new tire the same diameter?
@@naception it's taller
Debiste poner una medida de talón mas bajo para que te quede a la misma altura original. Siempre mismo diametro

Did you have any issues going up a size in tires how do it ride
Did this make your seat height higher?
Slightly maybe half an inch
Do you need to get a new front tire if you get a new rear tire?

@@BillyOnroad sounds good. thanks!
@@flashbacka1122 just be careful how old the front tire really is, some last so long they get hard/slippery from age.
