People think the bov should be closed at idle because they only want the bov open when reference pressure is less than charge pipe pressure. Probably doesnt matter for people who dont use air filters or mafs
Yea, I've went back and forth with different springs. I chose the one that the car liked best for spool time, etc. I could be wrong about the open at idle. There's all kinds of different opinions. Thanks for your input. Always a plus hearing different opinions for sure. I'm still learning every day
Thank you

Wouldn’t the blow off valve allow unfiltered air to enter throttlebody?
Never thought about it like that before but you’re right. I wonder if there are filtered BOVs?

@@StationroadRatrods BOV when opened blows out, not in. Its turbo's idle boost which doesnt go to the engine
Any problems with knock off valve ?
No problems at all.
Well I guess I can't have that if it's supposed to be up my Mas sensor would be bypassed and my car will go crazy
I believe the MAF is between the throttlebody and Bov
If your vehicle requires a MAF use a recirculated BoV
What car is this sir?
Mustang
