I really like that blue ! To bad the interior didn't get matched to the color instead of the red ! My local Honda only got a hand full of white ones in since the release and legit I've only seen one black one on the lot that ended up being sold to someone a few hours away! I don't think Canada got many color options !
@@ahcgarage I wonder if these wheels and tires hold up better than the OEM. The OEM are thin can’t absorb a pot hole hit which unfortunately are here in NY LOL and got to switch the tires at 10,000 miles.
Tons of 18" wheel choices out there which look way better than the ridiculous 20's and 30-series tires. 40-series and 18's fit the car a lot nicer, make the ride better, and are just all around more practical for a DD vehicle.

Nice, just a little advise put blue thread locker on the prl intake box bolts and mine where vibrating out after 8k miles. I removed the box since I was doing radium ccv catch can install and fixed it….just FYI.
Enjoyed the vid thanks! Big drop from the RS*R. I am going the opposite way and reverting my 2017 fk8 to stock. I have 255/35/20 4s on stock wheels and I like them.
Lowering isn’t for everyone. Works well for us with perfect flat roadway. Slightly larger tires with those 4S will definitely get the full potential out of the FK8 👍🏼

I have to agreed. We have tested a few and most carry a heavy drone. This apex-i made a huge impression on the sounds and performance. To be far, it’s one of the pricier exhaust out there for FK8

Thats called a Z and Nissan makes it The Type R is a masterclass in fwd magic with big power 4cyls....unless you need 1800+whp this engine is more than enough to make 600whp on stock block or 1000+ with a built motor
It wouldnt be an R and look ugly like the civic sport hatch does Car does 174mph on stock tune....e30 tune + bolt-ons 450hp easily top that.....and you want to lose rear stability? Makes no sense The car is about performance for people who want to push the car You can just buy a civic sport 1.5t and mod that - make 290whp/340wtq with FBO and e30 tune and have a "stealth" look you want....aero would suck but I guess you dont care what happens above 80mph lol
stock black is kinda blah, hard to see the design of the wheels. The gunmetal color looks much better. Although IMHO the FK8 looks better with 18" wheels and 40 series tires. Stock 20's and 30-series is sort of ridiculous on a Civic.

FK8 equips with ADS (Adaptive Damper System), where using lowering springs we can still take advantages of the factory system. Also, this setup provides great daily driving setup and also fun at the track. RS-R, Spoon, Eibach and much more companies make great lowering springs for the FK8.
Did you guys tune it after installing the new parts? I'd imagine it would need tuning to get any performance gains over stock. I installed an intake in my civic and AFR's were all out of whack until I got a dyno tune.

They are both fantastic exhaust systems. Apex-i is the most expensive out of the two while offers the nicest sound and craftmanship. HK-S has a lower price point but it's a bit louder and carries a bit of exhaust drone. You can't wrong with either one.

Wheel gap will be a bit more exaggerated due to the wheel size change. Might have to increase the tire size by a bit to compensate

That might be a bit too aggressive, especially if you're planning to lower it

Both wheels weight just about the same. Stock wheel/tire at about 51.4lbs and 20” HF-5 and tire at about 50.8lbs

Yes, alignment is always recommended after any type of suspension work. We have done that off camera
