Ever since I saw one of your buhurt videos I've been interested in everything involving medieval combat, unfortunately there wasn't much that I could do to work towards it.
I'm currently 16 years old, and I'm very slowly working towards being able to participate in buhurt some day.
I want to thank you for helping me find something that I can work towards and be motivated to do in the future, maybe I'll see you on the battlefield some day, keep up the great videos!
MMA is the way to get ready. And of course you can start save funds to get good equipment :) Buhurt is waiting my friend 😁

@nothing here Looks like Judo and grappling would be the best discipline and most advantageous in Buhurt. Conditioning probably the most important, for endurance. I'd basically train with full gear to get explosiveness when needed, and spar doing judo throws and trips.
@@WHCAudio maybe Olympic wrestling, especially greco-roman, would be useful.

@@madtechnocrat9234 yes but it originated from Ukraine and a lot of buhurt events were held by them I'm pretty sure
@@unterhau1102 IMCF is run globaly, i watched the event in Malbork in Poland.
If sb wants to train it he needs to find out his country teams/clubs.

What type of padding are they using?nare these super dull axes? They look legit, maybe notndo heavy weighted.
Somebody fill me in
Two handed axe weight limit is up to 3.5kg. It's hardened steel. As padding, I use a combination of quilted under armor, polyfoam fized to steel plates from inside and sport plastic back protection.
