- They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
Unreleased music from S3's The Family of Blood, enjoy, comment, subscribe and remember.
Music by Murray Gold
The fact this piece wasn't officially released is almost criminal. Probably my favourite piece from Doctor Who; I associate it so much with the 10th Doctor era and get such a huge wave of nostalgia and emotion when I hear it. Thank you so much for uploading!
it... was
it's the doctor forever
Official Yoda
The Doctor Forever included a section taken from this piece, but it’s not the same song. It’s a shame that this original full piece isn’t an officially released song, as it is, in my opinion, one of Murray Golds absolute best works for the show.

@@louiswalrus8114 How has someone made a clean version? That's insane! Thank you, man.
@@TimonicFusion Haha no problem :) and idk, I searched for ages yesterday and eventually found that. Look at his channel, he has some clean versions of other pieces too
The two scenes that I get really emotional for with this music are when the Doctor has opened the motorway in ‘Gridlock’ and (more specifically as well as my favourite scene of all-time) the WWI scene with young Tim Latimer and then the present day Remembrance Day memorial with old war hero Tim Latimer in ‘Human Nature’ and ‘The Family of Blood’.
Omg that remembrance scene makes me literally ball out tears not matter how many times i watch it.
This is one of the pieces of music ever written! Seriously, it's powerful, nostalgic, hopeful, tragic and as expressive as music gets
Nostalgia... Tears of nostalgia...
I come back here every Remembrance Day
The Quality on this is crystal clear! This has to be one of your best completions yet it was so good I had to listen to it twice!
+Doctor Who Fandom Thank you so much! :D
I love this music and have always thought it should have been released! Thank you for uploading this on Rememberance Day!
+Katie Ruby You are most welcome
No problem! don't know if you do requests but Ive always liked the music in Rise of the Cybermen when The Doctor has to choose between Mickey and Rose, it's not very long but it's lovely :)
+Katie Ruby Sure thing, will hopefully upload it within the next few days :)
+Katie Ruby Here you go :)

3:03 I love this little bit so much
Very poignant, this episode made me cry it was so beautiful, it was heartbreaking when David had to say bye to Jessica Haynes and the young lad serving in the War and later older at a memorial as a veteran and Martha fixing the Poppy on the Dr. Very touching
Utterly beautiful.
Je pleure encore le départ de Ten.
Je ne l'oublierai jamais et son thème me rend tellement triste. ;_;
Je peux jamais regarder les saisons 2-4 sans avoir la boule au ventre en arrivant vers la fin...
David Tennant, le meilleur Docteur. Il sera toujours LE Docteur pour moi.
3:10 best bit
good video
My fav
I love this theme! So beautiful and so fitting for such a poignant and emotive scene! ❤😊
I love how this is basically Martha's theme
no that's the 10th doctor theme or at least one of them
THAT is Martha's theme :D th-cam.com/video/REwOudgPQTI/w-d-xo.html
It's melodically similar but still a totally separate theme
Think you need to get your ears checked.
Tbh u only really hear it when martha is around
They are similar because both make use of the dorian mode, justa that
Thank you 😊
Awesome
Thank you
Awesome theme
Look to the future
❤
episode is sooooo underrated
not really, everyone knows family of blood is one of, if not the best storyline ever.
For me, this is the soundtrack to the closing few pages of Timewyrm: Revelation, the first piece of Who fiction to explore the Doctor's character.
but this is just the doctor forever
Only the first part is
Battlefield 1 theme?
This piece was released? It’s called The Doctor Forever and it’s on the soundtrack
This is a variation of that.
Not exactly. Halfway through The Doctor Forever, it stops momentarily and then goes into a light-hearted jaunty piece of music which completely ruins the beautiful atmosphere that has been built up to that point. This version omits that and edits in the rest of the scene at the end of The Family Of Blood.
