Oh yes this has been on every Christmas dessert table since I can remember. It seriously is a delicious dessert. We always added a jar of Marchino cherries drained and diced up. It looked very festive. You are so sweet to bring these memories back to life for us.

☀️Hey there Sweetness! I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Watergate Salad, even if it does remind some of us of a “bitter” time in our government. Lol! So precious to see you, John Murray and your darling Ashley. She is growing and getting prettier every day! What a blessing! Sending to a DM audio. Will be short. Love you, Momma Vikki 💜💜💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Momma Vikki Im packing as I text you. I'm hoping things are okay with you. I did listen to your audio and have you in my prayers. Please keep me posted. Love you.
Such a beautiful view of a glorious sunset! Thank you for sharing with us. I love Watergate Salad but haven’t had it in years. I think it’s about time I make it again. Happy Thanksgiving & blessings to you, John and your sweet family! 💜🦃🍗🍧😋🙏🏻
I love love love this. How did you like the salad having never had it before? I grew up eating it so I like it. Would like, to get your opinion. Would you share with me where you live?
@@amyslouisianakitchen OH. EM. GEE. I’m so excited you liked and responded! I’m slightly geeking out 🤣 At first, when I was making it, I was like.. I don’t know about this. Then I tried it all together and I didn’t think it was bad. I set it in the fridge for a bit to get nice and chilled - game over - LOVED it. I live in central Alabama. However, I was born and grew up overseas - my family was in the military. My dad is from Alabama and when he retired he moved us here. I didn’t have southern sweet tea until like 1999 😅 or cornbread dressing. I reckon I’m making up for “lost” time 🤣 I hope y’all are having a fabulous day! 💜
Oh Amy my MeMe use to make this. I called her mom. Us girls would make some recipes that we would like. The men would want the norm ham, turkey, dressing, all the pies you could think of. Us girls would make this and other dishes but we would sit around after and eat on them and talk and laugh and catch up and just enjoy those memories. My MeMe went to be with the Angels almost 9 yrs and I miss her so much. One of the dishes she used to make was with top ramen (raw and broken up) and I think it had sliced almonds in it. Maybe sliced green onions in it. Anyways she would make that one in particular during the holidays. I was wondering if you heard of it and if you would do that recipe please. It’s a great dish. Thank you sweety. I just love you and John. You remind me so much of how I serve my hubby to this day. I just love doing it. On Nov 22, we will be married for 37 years. 😘❤️🥰 Love your channel so much!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
