    ABOUT:
Hi! I’m Valeria, and I’m a Ukrainian expat and digital nomad, currently living in Italy. I first came here without speaking the language and being totally unprepared, but pretty sure this is gonna be an adventure of a lifetime! I love discovering Italian culture, Italian people and, of course, Italian food. I'm a full-time content creator, so when I'm not making travel videos, I'm taking photos, writing and creating artworks. Studying is another passion of mine, and currently I’m finishing my Masters degree at the University of Bologna. Here I post regular travel vlogs, tips on expat life, moving abroad, personal growth and self-esteem as a woman living abroad, so hop on and welcome on board!

You ran away from Bologna's intolerable heat. Nice choice. The whole region is spectacular anyway.

Ciao! It is interesting to see the change in architectural style in Merano as opposed to most areas in Italy. It is cool to see the Austrian style buildings while still in Italy. Also, I have seen how the food changes as you get close to the Austrian border, of course. What were the temperatures there? Thanks for the look at another beautiful Italian city. Buona Lunedi! Thank you! I also love how different that part is! The food also changes a lot - stay tuned for another video next Monday, I'm diving way deeper into the food topic there :)

As for the temperatures, it was like 35C-38C as opposed to 42C-45C in Bologna at the same time, so definitely better even if not ideal :D

@@DramaticallyExpatic no 45 °C in the padanian plain because we are not the desert of sahara! It was 35 °C in the po valley, where have you found the data?

You are certainly lucky to study and live in Italy despite your own countries problems with what is happening. Italian people culture religion is one of the best!

Definitely inspired to go there. Looks like a gorgeous place. Hope they let me enjoy that walk without getting arrested for looking like a bum 😆

Trento is near there? We loved the history in Trento. The museo diocesano has such treasure and the Castello is also magnificent

Trento and bolzano(Bozen) lies in trentino alto adige,so they are close and you can reach both easily by train. It is the northernmost region of Italy and it has the most spectacular mountains in the nation alog with Belluno province(Veneto) and Valle d'Aosta. Trento is the italian province and alto adige/sudtyrol is the german part and like trieste they were heavily influenced in architecture by the austrian empire, having joined Italy only in 1918 so there are still truly germanic people over there (some of them not happy being part of Italy) and the food the lifestyle is quite germanic than italian. It'a another part of our nation that will surprise you from being different than the rest.
