Thanks for the deconstruct info. I keep forgetting when it's best to use. I just remember how I couldn't believe how strong it was in a difficult vex activity when I first got it.

I’ve been rolling with deconstruct. It just works for me because I don’t have to do anything to prep it. And then it also has the benefit of its inherent perk against constructs, etc.

Why hard launch? Just for extra damage because I got a countermass and it looks better for handling
Bungie is looking into the cascade envious combo, they did not yet say something about doing something against it, but it could happen

Cascade and deconstruct with sticky grenades is so fun to use.
One roll I'm still trying to get is chain reaction deconstruct. If it counts towards the hits to proc deconstruct, the add-clear potential could be insane (especially with a volatile build too)

I just got that roll with high explosive ordenance. If your direct hit + atleast 1 or 2 chain reac kills, it is basically infinite ammo
This isn't true, there's videos of ppl using decon with chain reaction
@@liesiontheir Man i tried it. I have that roll. One thing that i noticed is that it is quite random, but does infact return ammo by kills wirh the chain reaction explosion. The only thing you need to make sure is that you direct hit atleast 1 enemy in order for it to proc.
I have volatile argument envious and deconstruct I like it because I can shoot forever like 20+ shots lol and still have ammo when I reload
So, deconstruct is good but what is the best mag option? High explosive ordnance for less mag size? Spike nade? Sticky?
The only problem is, that you wont be using icarus dash when running something like pantheon or raids with this, since you will probably kill them.
Is there a reason why in the deconstruct DPS rotation you are firing the wilderflight? Usually its the best dps for activating BNS but since you dont need to activate BNS here wouldnt it be a DPS loss to use the special weapon here and instead focus on firing the edge transit?

why sticky nades? is there a reason for it
There's no benefit to use high explosive ordinance on Edge Transit with deconstruct since it still requires 3 shots to procc (unless you really want that blast radius). Any other mag perk is better.
Somehow Sticky Grenades procs Deconstruct every 2 shots. Great for ammo economy. Don’t like sticky for general gameplay though or moving enemies.
No high explosive ordinance also brings it down to 2 shots per proc. Its 50% mag size + 2 to proc decontruct and each shot (without sticky) counts as 2 hits. So every other hit gives a nade. In the clip you can see he fired 7 shots totals which proves its 2 shots per proc. Its just as ammo efficient as sticky nades although it lowers the mag size

With high explosive u gain 2 nades back with ur first mag after shooting 3 shots and when Deconstruct buff is up u get 1 back every 2, making is 7 shots for the first mag. While Deconstruct buff is still up, he only gets 6 shots in the second mag.
Meanwhile with sticky grenades u get 1 ammo every 2 shots back consistently.
U have to hit ur shots though and it needs to explode, not just stick to the enemy and then explode all at once or hit the rock like what happens in this clip.

Unrelated but does anyone know why a mountaintop with radiant cant break a barrier shield? Im low key confused cause ive used other grenade launchers and they break the shield easily
It does but only if you get right up on the champ and shoot. I found it works more consistently when you shoot the ground inside their barrier.
Because unless you use a perk like idk, adaptive munitions or something: Kinetic weapons do less damage to shields. So that first shot of mountaintop is getting its damage reduced.
They just fixed the issue. You can break the barrier now
My shiney has hard launch, spike or sticky, auto loading or impulse amp, and deconstruct or bait and switch. Very happy with it.
sry for my nub question but how are you auto reloading by dashing?
Rain of fire boots. First part of the perk reads „air dodge reloads all your equipped weapons…“ the rest is mainly aimed at fusions and linears.
I have a roll with mini frags (increasing mag to 7) but I can only get 15 shots in the mag?? How do you have 21?
Mine has spike nades but with bavkup mag it reaches 7. With full envious assasin i get to 21 as well maybe 2+ void reserve mods?
i don't get it why deconstruct ? it says vehicels and constructs but bosses are none of them or am i wrong ?
The vehicle and construct part only applies to the dmg buff deconstruct gives. The ammo regeneration part of it applies no matter what you are hitting
How you are getting 21 ammo in this gl? When i have envious assassin i only get 15 ammo

I think I want sticky nades auto load deconstruct because I can dump the mag and wait for the deconstruct timer to run out and switch to like izzy shoot a shot reload switch back and then I can get 2+ shots for free, but you only get 1 shot for free while the timer is active. it would greatly increase my reserves and in theory it sounds like the best option

@@Brahdz its always optimal to run same element on both weapons so whenever u are armor charged or any other buff really its equal buff for both weapons for Boss Dps rotations or even normal plays
you don't have to at all, but if you're not...at least make sure you're using overcharged weapons using artifact mods (assuming the overcharged weapons modifier is active in the activity you're doing)...requires a bit of a deep dive to get a full grasp, but it also depends on build synergy (if fragments or exotic armor you're using require subclass matching weapons)...it's nothing to worry too much about unless you're in gm level content and trying to min-max...i suggest watching some videos on surges until it clicks in tbh...kind of a requirement if you really wanna learn build crafting unfortunately!
Deconstruct + Cascade ? Best of both worlds
Deconstruct actually procs less with the faster fire rate, so it's more of a compromise of dps and total
@@cameroncurtis7261 My understanding is that a combo of lower velocity and distance to target mitgates that issue.. still hunting the roll myself so havent been able to test personally
@@joachimsivertsen3516 if you have a fairly stationary boss or something then sure, if you're able to get enough distance and are able to hit your shots...kind of a niche situation for the most part
the juicer rotation is rain of fire with izi x4 to overload it, and proc cascade off of izi precisions. Then 2 weapon swap Izi and edge

I would not lean too much into deconstruct as I highly believe it is currently bugged and not doing what it's supposed to do, I would not be surprised if it gets changed or neutered much like the expected change to the envious swap to cascade combo.

what about auto loading BaS ?
that's the most practical roll for pretty much any damage rotation imo...that or envious/b&s...i run lucky pants so dumping my entire heavy load isn't necessary (envious/b&s is perfect for this setup)
