I imagine the lack of simultaneous bluetooth on a lot of recent headsets is due to discord finally being available on playstation. It’s honestly unfortunate bc i love that feature as a pc gamer
I just can't do wireless headphones anymore. When you experience audiophile wired headphones (and they don't have to be expensive), you can't go back. This isn't gaming vs audiophile, as they can be one and the same, I just much prefer wired via an amp. You CANNOT beat that set up with wireless. I do LOVE seeing this side of Techne, nothing beats a hyped Techne when he loves a product. Nice job Turtle Beach!!
That's the truth!!! I have a Schiit HeL 2 & the Hifiman Sundara Closed Back Headphones & a few open back headphones as well & my ears are now permanently spoiled 😂😂😂🤦🏿🤷🏿
These will definitely be an option for me a few months from now when I get get these used and like new from Amazon. I've wanted a wireless set of open backs for a while now. Ever since I switched from the PC37x I've missed using open backs so much
I'm pretty close to buying these but theres another reviewer that mentions hearing distorted audio/artifacting audio in the Menu/UI's of games. Said he found it pretty distracting. Have you noticed anything like that?
I've been a die hard Steelseries Arctis nova fan for many years. And I still believe the Arctis Nova's are the best headset I've ever used, but my ears are truly suffering in getting sweaty and moist. It's been giving me some serious issue with my ears. So I pulled the plug and bought myself a pair of Turtle Beach Atlas Air a few days back. I've gotta say I'm a fan of these so far. Sound is pretty good, definitely had to get used to all the sound getting in being an open back, but let me tell you the change for my ears already is so refreshing. There's some feature is really do miss from my Arctis Nova. Being the adjustable chat mix right on the headset not having to get into the software to adjust it is just a game changer. And with the Artic Nova you just swap a battery and stay wireless forever. Obviously this being open back there is no space for a battery so can't have that and I can definitely live with charging the headset wired every now and then. but the chat mix being software only is a really bummer for me. But I'm only like 5 days in.
Yeah I got these yesterday and used them all day. These seriously have an insane sound stage. It’s even large compared to other audiophile open back headphones.
Been waiting for this review. I got the TB Stealth Pro based on your review. But I'm curious about using an open-back headset for gaming, for the larger soundstage. BTW, be honest, T. The real reason you don't like open-back cans is because you can't drown out Mrs. Techne yelling at you to finish your honey-do list. 🤣
In your intro you're showing all those things with a black headset on a white table; the contrast is too large, we can't see what you're showing. Maybe next time try showing things with a lesser contrast... edit: I am watching this on a HDR monitor, in HDR mode, maybe the whites are much brighter and thats the reason I can't really see anything details against black items, I'm sorry if the contrast comment is only a problem on my side.
I'm having the same issue and was going to try and make a comment about it trying to not sound like a total asshole but I couldn't get the right words so I just thought I'd go and look if someone else already took the risk before me Basically all I see in the intro are moving black silhouettes

I truly understand what good audio is at an audiophile level as I’ve been into audio for almost 30 years and I have to say I’ve never really liked TB headsets, apart from their Elite Pro 2 headset. Overall they’re all good sounding headsets, but in my opinion not as good and detailed as SteelSeries. However, Elite Pro 2 is an amazing headset and I still think to this day it’s still their best headset. It has amazing detail and ev n more amazing imaging. I mostly play FPS games and it’s my go to headset for FPS games. I own many headsets including a few SteelSeries like Nova 7 and Nova Pro, but I always end up going back to Elite Pro 2

It’s an Xbox/MS issue. They use a proprietary wireless connection and they require peripheral devices to purchase a license to integrate it. It’s a really good low latency connection and they don’t want it being copied.

Once these came out my dream came true, I think as of now there are still less than 5 open-back wireless headphones/headsets on the market that have any mic whatsoever. Tats are on point brother. 'Merica.
Im sick of these great headsets refusing to include wireless for xbox.
Blame Microsoft.
That’s an MS issue. Not a headset issue.
It’s an Xbox/MS issue. They use a proprietary wireless connection and they require peripheral devices to purchase a license to integrate it. It’s a really good low latency connection and they don’t want it being copied.
@nathangothan601 every other wireless TB headset has an Xbox dongle, even their new $70 one. This new top of the line one tho, doesn't. It's dumb
@@bmacarthur I get what you're saying. The Atlas lineup was always a PC focused headset so I'd say that's probably the reason consoles are an afterthought with it.
I've been rocking Grado GW100Xs for years, I loved them so much I bought two, much to the dismay of my online friends due to their abysmal mic quality. Once these came out my dream came true, I think as of now there are still less than 5 open-back wireless headphones/headsets on the market that have any mic whatsoever.
While they obviously sound better wired, wireless open-backs still sound phenomenally better than wired closebacks for my preferences.
No simultaneous Bluetooth, no game chat mix, no point in getting these unless you legitimately do not own a headset currently. Save your money
@MINHN2888 .......do u know if new logitech a50 x have simultaneous bluetooth?..........now i have the steelseries artic nova pro thjat i bought some months ago but the only flaw for me is that......i cannot to connect at multiple devices with Bluetooth...........
@@babayaga.666-v8x it does but there’s a catch. Everything is tied to the base station versus the headset
Ya simultaneous Bluetooth is a must. Doing laps on gt7 or running some dungeons in d4 with your own thing playing is a must.
Tell us you don't know a thing about sound without telling us...
@@TheJustPull5641more to a gaming headset than just sound
Great review sad they don’t work with Xbox
Welp thanks a lot Xbox now I got return them why would charge companies a licensing fee if they could just buy a pc and avoid your bs 🤬
Not to be disrespectful but owning an xbox these days is just not viable anymore, ps and pc are like the only options nowadays…
w that bernie Mac
software isnt that appealing i cannot lie
The headset itself is what's important
This headset looks incredibly cheaply made
These are plenty sturdy
i'm sorry but i feel like you're overhyping this headset lol
no hype man, its seriously good!
If only it had simultaneous bluetooth, then it would hit all the marks for me
Same, no simultaneous bluetooth means I'm sticking with the Virtuoso XT's
@@barneyismyhero1that headset is so flat for me on fps game (apex) guns sounded like they were barely shooting lol
Artist Nova pro headset has to be the worst headset I've ever owned.... Not comfortable shity shitty software, my astro a40s so much more comfortable and not good for cod.. and noone has any settings
I wonder if you ever eq’d it? I have the nova pro wired and man can you get amazing sound through them through the dac amp that comes with it. In fact the dac amp that comes with it I use all kinds of wired headphones with it and they sound amazing

not first
The design of these look like gaming headsets from 2012, bulky and not sleek.
I expected you to at least pay respects to Roccat brand.
But I guess nothing is sacred for you.
Doesn't look long lasting.
