I am thankful that I found your channel. What I love about you is that you make it real. You don't try to be Martha Stewart. You make messes and mistakes and laugh about them, but have valuable information. I will definitely make this recipe and will be in my pantry.
You know why you’re one of my absolute favorites? It’s because you’re so dang easy-going and chill which makes your recipes feel non-threatening. The cherry on the cake would be seeing the recipe what the recipe looks like once it’s made. Show me that bowl of broccoli cheddar soup, woman! 😂
Thank you for sharing Ali! 😊 I appreciate the time you put into creating the recipes and the demo. I like that this soup base can be used for so many cream of …. soup recipes. Hope you all have a nice Thanksgiving! 🦃
Love this video, soup is one of my favourite things to eat so being able to store a dry mix for me to use whenever and put what ever with it to make what I feel like is great for me. Thank you for sharing this.
Girl, you are crankin' out the videos! I love it! I've always been a from scratch cook, but you're really inspiring me to take it to a whole new level despite the fact that my kids are grown. Bless you & thank you so much!❤
Good afternoon our new friends! ♥ Thank you so much and just in time for the holidays too! Cream of celery soup is $1.98 here. When making dressing we use cream of mushroom, celery and sometimes cream of onion(soften onion 1st) but it's hard to find and they all have too much added salt. So thanks once again for an affordable healthy version Ali! I had a recipe years ago and lost it and it breaks my heart to spend over $4 for 2 cans of salty cream of soups. A quick tip, when I used to make cream of mushroom I would add 1-2 teaspoons of beef boulion powder to it. I think it makes it taste more like it. I normally heat my water and mix in a pan And bring it to a boil stirring constantly and turn it off while I'm getting other things together. I'm so tickled to have a great recipe for cream of anything again! Also since you guys camp too, we have taken our mix with us and add it to warm or boiling water you can add veggies or just plain and it's so good when camping. My husband and I had your chicken flautas with leftover smoked chicken and your Mexican rice last night. They were both terrific and easy! So far everything we have tried of yours and Shawn's comes out perfect! My husband said we must have similar taste buds. Lol 😂. Also we are going to Nashville this weekend and I'm definitely looking at thrift stores for a bread machine. I've only tried making rolls and cinnamon rolls twice by hand and it's soooo much work. I've been checking 3 thrift stores locally and no luck since we live in a very small town. So I'm definitely going to checkout at least 1 of our favorite thrift stores while we are there this weekend. Thanks so much for sharing your time, hard work and rewarding videos with us! You have literally changed my empty nesting heart where I can stay busy. ♥
Aww, as an empty nester I am glad I was able to help. We have one at home but he is 19 and on the spectrum so it is often like it is just Shawn and I left here. I am so glad you have liked everything. Love the idea of the beef bouillon!
I've been using Nido for years. I live alone and mostly use milk in my coffee. It mixes well and actually tastes like REAL milk. Works great in any recipes especially in bread.
I love these videos! Any chance you can do one on making homemade Chorizo seasoning? 🙏🏻 Oh, and also a homemade brown gravy mix! I would love to ditch the top brand stuff!
Thank you for this! I make my own but on the stovetop with butter, flour, broth, and spices. This is easier. 😊 So does the bullion make it salty enough? I noticed there is no salt.
Yes Ali, your amazing, love what your doing. Do a deep dive on the naughty list. Nestle is on it. Their slick slipping unexpected things in our foodies. Just a heads up. My health food vitamin store stirred me away from my favorite vitamins because Nestle just bought and changed the recipes of our healthy vitamins. Makes me not trust what their motive for us would be. Keep keeping on, your wonderful ✨️
Thank you for the heads up about Nestle, I will check into that. I think all of them are doing that and I wonder the why as well. We do as much as we can to avoid processed anything. I’m going to work on a veggie and fruit powder as a supplement you mix with water in the new year I think.
@@LittleHillHomesteadGa Your hubby hit the jackpot with you if the way to a man's heart is through his stomach! I think he loves every bit of his job as your official taster.
I love your channel so much! You’re too much fun! I’ve made my own cream of…..soup before but yours sounds to much tastier! I have to try it!! I made cream of mushroom soup from my mix and hubs couldn’t tell the difference, but it lacked salt…..I just add some! You make my day so much more fun! I got my little label printer yesterday! Can’t wait to try it!!! Thanks for all you do! I wish I had your energy!!!!😂❤
If I only want to use real milk instead of the powder milk. How much would I add if I'm making one can of soup? And I've been watching you quite a while but haven't commented thank you so much for all the work you've done I've really enjoyed the mixes that you showed us how to do.
This is probably a dumb question but I usually add a can of cream of chicken soup to my chicken and noodles. Since I am adding it to chicken, do I just use your recipe but just don't add the additional chicken? Thanks
I have a question, the powdered milk product that you use, is it an instant variety? I have whole milk powder, but I have to hydrate it with water overnight. Could I still use that?
Box cake mixes, I have tried 3 different shelf stable ones from other youtubers and they are so dry I end up tossing them out. Was going to make some for gifts but they aren't worthy enough to give, I still need to try your brownie mix
Sometimes all I want is a cup of creamy soup. This would be great for a cup of soup. Do you still have the scalloped potatoes and A1 on schedule? How does your husband sorrel his name? I never know which spelling to use 🤔 😅 One more thing is that the fortified Nido powdered milk? Is that the 4.85 lb one? It's $23.48 w/out a discount at Sam's in NC. My kids decided to get a membership last night.
It is the big old tub you are talking about. It has gone up over the last year. Scalloped potatoes are tomorrow! He spells it Shawn but he like me will answer to any of the spellings.
We have a few on the channel but we will have a grain free version coming in a week or so. th-cam.com/play/PLda16DjggZcp_8bCd_NSS7UDUMb2ddjiu.html&si=MPwdVc2fmnnx-1pn

Thanks for all the time u and u husband put into these videos!!!😊
It’s my pleasure! I have so much fun making them.
I love that u put the recipe on here. I only watch cooks who do that.
It takes a little longer but I agree that it is so helpful!
It does get frustrating when you watch the video and then go for the recipe and there isn’t one. So I thank you for this as well!

You’re right, I will add a photo of the finished soup to the video!
Yes girl, I love this.
I love this homemade dupes, please keep them coming!

Thank you for sharing your recipes. I made cranberry pepper jam. We love it and it is a perfect gift for the holidays.

I get to play in the kitchen and then have the satisfaction of sharing with y'all. Thanks so much for the sweet comments.
Would love to see a dupe of stove top dressing.
Yes, please!
That's a great idea! I'll add it to my list!
Love your vintage stove!
Thank you!
Thank you again!! This is perfect. I loved the bouillon video and now this. ❤

I like that this is shelf stable, thanks! I grow and dry herbs as well. I just harvested a bunch of celery seed, first time for me doing that.
Thank you for the recipe.
Thank you! Much love ❤
Sounds delish
Brilliant! Powdered milk here in Canada is ridiculously expensive. Thankyou. I have been making your recipe for ranch dressing......amazing.
I need to mess with dehydrating milk to make milk powder.
Thanks for what you do!
It is my pleasure!
Thank you. This sounds good
Enjoyed the video 😊
I've been using Nido for years. I live alone and mostly use milk in my coffee. It mixes well and actually tastes like REAL milk. Works great in any recipes especially in bread.
It’s great for bread and I love that it doesn’t have that “powdered” taste.
I am enjoying your videos. They are really motivating me.
Thanks for doing this! 😊
You're welcome! I hope it is helpful.
Love and blessings, thanks so much 🎉sharing your wisdom ❤️✝️🕊🙏🏼. 🌻🌺🌸🌼
You are very welcome! 🙏
💕💕💕
I love these videos!

Oh, and also a homemade brown gravy mix! I would love to ditch the top brand stuff!
Our goal for 2025 is to make our own sausage and chorizo will be in that mix.
Great idea on brown gravy.
Dash blender is great too
🥰
I love to make this as I do alot of cream casserole..thanku for this ...Happy Thanksgiving to u and ur family ❤❤
To your family as well.

The bouillon makes up for the salt. We love it.

How can you put out these perfect videos faster than I can watch them? So looking forward to watching this one, so thanks again.
I never sleep! Just kidding. I do treat it like a full time job.

Leave the powder out of the mix and use milk instead of water. Thank you! ☺️
Hi their, loving your videos… by chance do you have a head county seasoning dupe, thanks in advance
I haven’t heard of it. What is it?
@ it’s seasoning the full name is head country Championship seasoning , it’s popular in the mid west
I’d love to learn how to make a dupe of butternut toffee syrup for coffee.
That sounds amazing. I need to try it.
This is probably a dumb question but I usually add a can of cream of chicken soup to my chicken and noodles. Since I am adding it to chicken, do I just use your recipe but just don't add the additional chicken? Thanks
Yep, that's what I would do.
Correct.
I like It's Just whole milk powder that I buy on Amazon.
I’m using goat milk because my son is lactose intolerant. ❤🙏🏻❤️🕊️
Amazon has a lactose green milk powder that I use & no one can tell the difference
@ Thank you 🙏🏻 ❤️
I have a question, the powdered milk product that you use, is it an instant variety? I have whole milk powder, but I have to hydrate it with water overnight. Could I still use that?
You should be able to use it if you planned ahead and made it earlier. I haven’t heard of this type before
Cream of cauliflower!!
Yup. 1/2 cup cooked cauliflower.
Thank you! Beef consommé is $1.75 a can and I love the way it flavors rice. Can you help?
Is that like beef bouillon? We do have a recipe for that.
Haha! There was a Cambell's cheddar cheese soup ad under this video.
Of course there was! What the heck.
Box cake mixes, I have tried 3 different shelf stable ones from other youtubers and they are so dry I end up tossing them out. Was going to make some for gifts but they aren't worthy enough to give, I still need to try your brownie mix
I need to make a video with my cake mix. It works great but you do have to add eggs and oil and liquid to make it.

@LittleHillHomesteadGa I understand. It's the ocd in me 😉😅
Had an idea and wonder if anybody has tried. Taking this what you have done the cream base and adding tomatoe powder to do a cream of tomato
That sounds amazing, I have to try it! I’m making tomato powder this week.
Can you share how you make dog food?

FYI Yesterday I purchased the powdered milk NIdo brand lg size at our Kroger….$27.99 😮
Ouch! I think it has gone up over the last year.
price has gone up this past year. I usually get it on Amazon.
I was just on Amazon. KLIM (milk spelled backwards) by Nestle, which is the same as Nido, also by Nestle, is still around $15 for big can even though Nido has almost doubled in price. I have used both and they are the same.
