Почти нет, но "дерьмо" - мягче слово, менее жёсткое. Даже на ТВ можно иногда услышать без "запикивания", когда, например, берут интервью у какого-нибудь рок-певца.
Гавно - неправильный вариант, часто распространен из-за *как слышу, так и пишу* Говно - правильный вариант, который происходит от праслав. govьno (статья из викисловаря) А так, даже на слух "говно" звучит приятнее (хаха, да), чем "гАвно".

Говно is correct but since this word is rude and almost not used in offical documents and kinda texts, you can see it in any form
