Just answered my own question by watching till the end lol my should be here in a week or so. My last edf was the arrows vipers 50 ,I hope this won't be too much off a jump up
This is a fun stable plane that will fly really well. I think the Gyro is helpful, but not required. If you can fly that little Viper 50mm, you'll have a blast with this Futura... Enjoy..
Hey Bruce. If you are super comfortable with a trainer and maybe even a quicker low wing, then this plane is an option. The easiest EDF is the 70mm Habu. Buts a bit more pricey.
@@SteffenRC Thanks Will. Is that the STS or the SS? I suspect the STS. Yes, I'm comfortable with my Ranger 1220 (no stabilization when I fly it) and my Cherokee 1.3m. Just got a handful of flights in the T-28 1.2m and that is pretty quick...I hit 72mph on the last flight. I'm just not sure if I have enough room. About a 150 yds by 220 yds for one but can easily fly over the trees for more space. And about 200 yds by 200 yds. Same with the trees here. The local flying field is bigger but I like these 2 "parks" because rarely are people around. I'm sure the EDF would be great at that field. I looked at your field and I'd love to fly on something that big! Having two 350' runways is crazy good and all that open space.
I'm thinking of the STS with 4s battery. Super slow flying plane. Well, your flying site is pretty tight. The little futura will keep you on your toes for sure... Good luck my friend.
Great review Will! I agree, I love both the 64 and 80mm Futuras, but oddly enough the smaller one is easier to fly.

It sure is. One of those planes that you can get comfortable very quickly.. Kinda like its bigger brother, but not quite as intimidating..

I´m already on my second yellow one :D After watching Adams #ModelAV8RChannel Knife Edge in January I ordered immediately xD I fly mine only on 6S :)
