Hell yeah! Adam rippin up a baby Falcon! Scar it, glue it, stick it, radio it, juice it up and Send it! 😊 Solid, comprehensive review Adam. This plane isnt quite my bag, where i am in my stage of this amazing hobby. But, i know where to go when this plane IS my bag. Awesome footage, Heidi! This little bugger isnt easy to track 👍
Awesome & informative review, as always! I actually laughed out loud when you said it was "loaded for Bear" and then flashed the Tu-95 pic. Priceless, ... Loved it!
FMS still smashing it in the RC plane world. Not many companies offer a choice in colours like fms does. Its like every new plane they learn something new. Rafale and Futura would've had the cherry on the top had they had LEDs. F16 seems to cover every area for a little budget friendly 64mm 4s jet. Great review Adam. Appreciate the extra info and unbiased opinions u put across.
Good job of pushing the F-16 to the limit. Seems like they said during a demo of the Thunderbirds that the solo pilot was doing a 9 G turn in front of us. I think you did every bit of that - and then some. (Cool that it just wouldn't stall with those hard pulls.) I enjoyed your video - and it is a great presentation !
Nice review of the FMS 64mm F-16, AV8R. While naked, it flies like twisting off a bottle cap after a good shake.... Such a great little F-16. I hope that FMS upgrades the 64mm F-15 as well 👍. AirHammer out!!
With those insanely stable high alpha abilities, this looks a perfect grass plane - hand toss, high alpha belly flop in and no worries about flying with the gear jammed unrealistically down. I typed this then you mentioned the scoop ... not so sure now but it does look good.
What a very nice EDF Jet from Fms, very capable ( well in your hands, Lol ) I don't think those wheels would cope at my field sadly 😒 Very impressed with the price point seems very good value!! All in all a great review!! And as always expertly filmed by Heidi, great Job 😀👍
Hi Adam, thanks for the great review. Today I bought my F16 at my lhs. Maybe a stupid question but at 4.18 min. you show a wooden plate for mounting the as3x receiver properly. Could you explain how you got this plate fitting well? How did you manage to get the right shape and dimensions? Thanks!
Hey thanks man. It is just a light ply plate. I cut the length I wanted first, just long enough for my RX of choice. I wanted to make sure I put it far enough back to get to the nose wheel servo if I wanted to. I held it in place and marked the front and back positions with a mark on either side of the ply where the inside sides of the fuse were, then cut it. Shaped it with the Dremel tool with a sanding disk. Glued it with med CA.
Hi Adam, can i train more on this fms 64mm f-16 or habu ss50mm ? This slows down really nice…… and looks super stable..maybe its because of your skills? Cheers
The Habu is a little easier to land because of the wider gear stance, F-16's are "tippy" if you will. Both slow down well. Habu uses 3s 2200's, F-16 needs 4s 2200's, so what packs you have on hand already may be a factor.
@ okay was just checking. I see a lot of guys running them on their FMS 64mm F-35s and they fly a little slower but good. Was just wondering if the aerodynamics of the F-16 would allow the same.
It would fly, F-16's handle slow flight very well, that said to get out of it what is intended for you, 4s is the way to go. Thankfully, as Lipos go, 2200 4s can be had for a great price. Check Amazon.
Ordenace replacement cost is completely insane for this model Adam instead of offering an complete ordenance kit? each pair of missles and tanks runs you about $15.95 so if you have a bad day and tear up your plane alittle it will hit you in the pocket book for replacement parts. Not Happy about that at all FMS. So it looks like im gonna go with the Thunderbirds version instead for that reason alone
Yeesh, that landing gear is a non starter. If it doesn't retract, it better be sturdy. It doesn't look sturdy. Honestly it looks like they took the mains of a piper cub and put it on the rear mains of this thing. Tell me those legs are metal, or it's gonna be a hand launch/belly lander after the maiden. Oh that oleo strut is firm....just what you want for foam.
Monday night release? Sweeeet. I just ordered hobbykings new viper. Otherwise this definitely would have been of consideration. Always wanted a f16 in the hangar. I wish we could get retracts with these smaller jets. It's 2024, surely it can be done effectively. Great stuff as usual Adam. Keep it up bud! 🫡x
The eflite 80mm f16 looks pretty enticing.. I'll have to check out that l39. Buy I think they could start putting retracts in all the edf 50mm up. Whether they be mechanical or servoless, there is or has been options on the market which they could integrate it they wanted to. Even if it adds 20-30 bucks to msrp I think it would equate to more value than an extra 20 30. Tell me you wouldn't pay 230 for this f16 if it had retracts. Even if it was basic mechanical servo driven retracts, it would add a lot to a fairly basic model. Hell even if they had to remove the lights
Nice work Adam! Man, it was tight getting this one done on time. It's always great to see you getting to push these planes juuuust right.
Thanks man! yep, tight schedule on this one. Lot of fun in a small package...and a fair price!
And the 10pm EST release keeps sneaking up on me. At least it takes some of the Monday out of a friggin Monday. 👍
Nice review Adam, thank you for attempting the grass ops for those of us that have to fly off grass 👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks man! I think it might do it off of smooth short grass, but no way off of ours unfortunately.

Thanks so much Al! Yeah this one was hard to track, but Heidi made it her B! Lol. Fun lil jet!
Just ordered one of these Adam, it looks great and comes in at a good price. Great in depth video too, 10/10 from me 😃👍🏻
Thanks very much Sean! Enjoy it!

Hey thanks man, really appreciate it!
Very nice Adam. Love the detailed build. Wheel gear is similar to the Freewing L-15. Good price!
Thanks Noel! Impressive lil jet.
It looks good and i love that gear. The power systems are definitely getting better! Great video my friend 👍
Thanks man!
Well done Adam.. Love your settings, I'm going to copy those.. Yours was more locked in than mine.. Heidi's video is outstanding..
Thanks bro! Yeah got it tuned pretty good for what I want it to do. The TB version looks good!
Now that’s a low pass!!! Good stuff as always
Lol, thanks!
Great work again my friend! I didn’t get to review this one, but it looks great based on your well rounded review 👊🏻💥👊🏻
Thanks GB! Fun jet, F-16's fly so freaking good. They did a good job on this one.

Thanks very much man! Yep, the stall characteristics...or lack of is one of the awesome things about it!
really want this for my first edf jet, its a little disappointing that that it doesnt come with swamp fox decals though
Very nice review ❤❤Much better with clean configuration ❤❤
Thanks!
Well done, Adam.
Thanks Earl! You need to try an F-16. Amazing flyers. Get Will to hand you the TX!

Thanks man! Yes sir I hope so too!
Good review, Adam. Quite a 'looker', I think... especially with the gear off.
Thank you Gina! It is...love the F-16. Probably my fav 4th gen fighter. I bet I know what yours is. Starts with Euro, ends with fighter....
@@ModelAV8RChannel ...I think you may be correct, Adam! ☺☺☺
a great look at this plane ! nice flights 😎👍
Thanks man!

Scoop may be a non issue, I have to try a belly landing in grass.

Thanks Ian! Yep, fun plane but tall grass will be a no go. Hand launches though...
Awesome review as always Adam! :D My white foamie is on the way...
Thanks man! Enjoy it!
love to see it without wheels! Did you measure how much weight is the wheel set?
I didn't, sorry.
Hi Adam my thunderbird will be delivered tomorrow I’ve just had courier email thanks for the tips, G🇬🇧
Outstanding! Happy flying!
Hello Adam, enjoy your channel, what glue did you use for the receiver shelf?
Awesome, glad you enjoy it! Thanks for watching. I used medium CA.
Adam on our runways best day it's clumpy and bumpy, seems like a great flyer zoom zoom zoom Jeff in LA USA
It is Jeff!
Great review as always Adam!! Nice looking 74mm F-16 👊🏼
Thanks Jeff! Fun one.

When you hand launch the F16, do you use SAFE on the Spectrum RX 630 ? Thx
Nope, I don't even have it activated...wouldn't be a bad idea for launches though.

@@ModelAV8RChannel thanks Adam -=Al award the voice of reason. Ps You should have more subscribers!!
Sorry Adam I meant you are the voice of reason
Thanks man!
Is this a park flier or do you need to go to a rc airfield to fly this?
It's fast, so I would recommend a flying field as the safest bet.
Can you run this on 3S? I have like 12 packs of 3S 2200mAH 35c that would be perfect for this.
No not really. You need the extra voltage of 4s to make enough power.

You don't have to use ordinance, just leave them alone, or send them to Me. :-) ha ha ... :-)
@@tructran8783 Yeah Ordinance on for static display and off with em for flying and let it slip thru the air faster anyway

Lol. The gear is metal with plastic covers, and the plane is 2 lbs. If it isn't tough enough for you...its your landings, not the gear.
Gear looks great to me.

An F-16 is always something I have wanted in the hangar too. Maybe some day 😎
Thanks man! Yeah Jake you need an F-16 in your hangar at some point...nothing flies like them. Can't stall them.
Banana has a 64mm L-39 with flaps and retracts. I've seen some reviews and it looks pretty good....
