As someone who dabbles in knife content; I'm regularly blown away by the amount of options constantly plopping onto the scene. Love the standards aestethic; the golf ball milling is gorgeous. looks like the USAmadeblade exclusive rockwalls.
If that little besttech was already available i'd basically have Christmas shopping done.
It's very cool nonetheless to see that the knife communities, to an extent are getting pushed further into the mainstream.
Thank god the US doesn't have draconian knife laws like in the UK.
Fun fact, the Twitch streamer named Finnster who streams whilst in drag is an absolute knife-nut, I learned that while watching them on the PKA podcast. Someone brought knives up and he went into that frantic knife nerd state wherein you start just grabbing and showing off every knife within snagging distance.
I really like the Pulsar and the Standard. I like more subtle designs that are executed very well and I’m all for texture on the scales. I’ll be in on the Standard preorder.
I bought the Golden Designworks Standard LTD because of this video. My first knife purchase over $400. Never thought I'd make it this far.
I like bigger knives as well but I swear my little Civivi Lumi or my Mini Begleiter get used more than any other knife in my collection! Awesome video man ty!
I love my Kinwu x-tao. I carry it more than my sebenza be sure it's just so much more fun to fidget with. I love that Kunwu is also Lefty friendly. I'm was on the Kickstarter than a Jackrabbit on a date.
That Pulsar, with its smooth, drop shut character and smart handle design and texture, has me droolin' for one!

The Standard is amazing! I've been waiting for that for years. Exactly what you said about the choil. On the money. But that checks a lot of boxes for me on the search for a perfect knife.

Kunwu needs a filler plate in the space for the unused pocket clip side. Small detail but makes a huge difference in a classy knife

I like that Kunwu pulsar but have been told by others that the omega springs used in Kunwu knives are way to weak and that the blade pops open from time to time while in the pocket. I only own 1 Kunwu (which was a gift) and that's the full-size Zen with the elmax blade. the Zen is a rather decent knife for the price but IMO the detent seems a little weak. even though the price is outstanding for the Pulsar I don't think I will buy one without being able to handle it myself first.
I like the Raptor Talon. Well just because.. Something to have in the collection.

That Kunwu is VERY SIMILAR to the Vosteed Raccoon! The Raccoon is awesome, the more I carry it the more I like it. The Kunwu is the Corvette to the Raccoon's Cavalier. 🤔

How strong is the “detent” of the cross bar lock on the Pulsar? Can you shake it out like a benchmade or a hogue?

I like that Thug XL. But I’m not liking the price. $300 for TI or $340 for CF seems a bit much. I bought the WE Reiver for about $50 less. There’s quite a bit of milling on the Reiver too. It must be the compound grind and 20CV that’s driving the price.
Or what's like a decent affordable quality I'm not like 100% knowledge done knives but I do love them and carry one almost all the time for protection or at least have one around in case need to use it as tool
Big Banter is nice ergonomically, but the sharpened length doesn't seem like it's much, if any, longer than the regular Banter. Hazards of forward finger choils. Not that it should really be a big deal, it's still plenty of blade for most tasks. Just may not be worth the higher price over the Banter for people who are worried about getting the most blade for their money.
The brushed finished on the Thug is badass. I don't like Tanto blades, but I'm considering that one because of the handle finish and because the tanto fits into a cohesive design in this case.
Strelitz is silly. Different strokes for different folks, I guess.
That Pulsar is sexy and that value is crazy. Easily $100 below where most of the market is for that kind of quality and materials
GDW Standard is the one that's most up my alley of these 5. I'm such a sucker for interesting milling of Titanium and they have 2 really cool designs to choose from (this one is "dimple" and they have another called "ripple"). Looks like the pre-orders open 12/30/22, no limit on quantity, which is a beautiful thing.

Kunwu is honestly embarassing American companies with their materials and quality.
I have the X-Tao, Zen, Tao, and Pulsar on the way, and I've never been disappointed.

As a new subscriber so would cut back the quantity and increase the quality. Maybe a couple videos a week of special knives
So the only thing I don’t like about the big banter was revealed on Beez Blades during the portion where he disassembled the knife!! That knife doesn’t have a D shaped pivot, instead it literally has a nub built into the pivot area that’s constructed out of the same material as the scales! His example was a beautiful green micarta and the anti-rotation mechanism was a tab of micarta!! In the comments there was about dozen people talking about how they have broken them already trying to disassemble their knives!! At the cost WE is selling this knife that’s unacceptable!

The standard is awesome! If it only had a flipper or button lock would be awesome. I hate front flippers
Front flippers tend to be a bit polarizing and if course it's primarily a preference thing but from what I've experienced, most of the people who hate them aren't using them correctly and say it hurts or is hard to use.

Trust me the best tech can save your life. There is a lot of senseless violence and if there is disparity of force you are quite justified using a knife or a gun to save your life. A knife in close quarters is quite effective.

Definitely an unpopular opinion it seems, but I thought they all were just meh. They just didn't speak to me, except I did add the Big Banter to my wish list. It seems like one I'd like, very utilitarian and depending on how the grind is behind the edge it could be a mean slicer. Once the excitement of my K390 Stretch wears off after it gets here at the end of the week, I'll be looking for the next knife to toss around and cut everything in sight with lol. I think it looks better than the smaller Banters. The proportions look more balanced to me.
