    This is me in the video - a fantastic lesson Marcus thank you and George for videoing. As Marcus said it’s given me a toolkit to work with. Since the lesson a couple of weeks ago I’ve added a minimum of 20 yards to my irons and flushing them more regularly. A lot more to work on to get the consistency but I’m getting there. Thanks again guys

      @@mick19421 Yes Mick - overall the session. was four hours long - you receive the whole video which is brilliant as it gives you the chance to review and use different techniques to practice. The driver was used as its the most weighted club in the bag so great for learning timing and release overall aiding understanding how to sequence properly. Focus was however for me on irons as that was the weakest part of my game

    I was stuck for the last 2 years with no understand of my swing and how to improve. I made more progress in a week after discovering your channel than I did in those 2 years. This makes golf so easy to anyone who has played any other sport. Thank you so much for not hiding how golf works.

    I’ve watched several of these live lessons and the best way to describe the students when they 1st get it is like watching someone’s reaction after they see a really good magic trick. Just speechless wondering what just happened. Priceless!

    the 'toe down' drill is gold.. ive been avidly watching these YT lessons and working on these feelings.
    a light went on during my last round with the toe divot feeling. some of my irons were superbly flushed. soft drawing penetrating 5irons. still WIP but loving the game again.. cheers Marcus.. hopefully ill get down from Middlesbrough next year for some gold in person 🙏

      @@GRFGolf just about ready to give up the game. 500 instructors watched, thousands of videos, gone from a mediocre mid to high 80s, 2 decades ago, to not even keeping score. Bogeys are really reallygood these days. Way too many miss hits. Help ? Suggestions ? Tennis ? Lawnbowling ? ; )

    Marcus, does it matter to you how the wrists set/hinge in the backswing? I tend to fold mine backwards (so the right wrist cups) but conventional wisdom seems to be to cock them upwards as the body rotates.
    I ask as this seems to relate to the release of the club. Cheers!

    Please let me know what the GRFI system is like to use. Does it really work?

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It provides a learning environment for you to explore how your body moves to connect you to ground reaction forces and utilize them in your swing 👍

    Tell me why I keep taking huge divots sometimes after and sometimes at the ball.

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Could be a multitude of things. Low point control and timing the vertical part of the downswing could be a place to start but without seeing anything, difficult to say.

  • @ruudengelhart5127
    @ruudengelhart5127 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So for the release, basically, the right foot pushes right, the left foot push left and forwards (all from the balls of your feet)?

    • @GRFGolf
      @GRFGolf  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How we interact with the ground does influence the release, but also how we use the golf club can influence how we interact with the ground also so it's not a one size fits all. Try a few things out and see what works for you 👍

      Unfortunately it's not that straight forward as we get regular spikes in audio from all the golf shots we hit which distorts the microphone! And the priority is and always will be to ensure our students get their videos to the best quality we can offer 👍
