Scrummy means Scrumptious! Scrumpy is Cider.. Scrumping means to steal fruit from an orchard... I'm so English.. Hahaha.. Love your new jacket Kyde.. Colours are Popping! Thank you guys for more entertainment. 🎉🤩👍
I still hold firm in my belief that Vietnam was your best series. The motorbiking parts with Kyde on the camera moving it around was awesome and I can not wait to perhaps see more of that now that both of you can ride Scooty Puff Jr.
The intro was epic - worth all the effort to pull it together! I have to assume it's hard to know if the work will pay off to set up those shots, but my wife and I loved it and even rewatched it again.
Love the trips with just rando things inserted. I LOL'ed on Yummy Scrummy. Your style is a nice change of pace from other creators who don't stop for the little things. Kyde has a knack for picking out these things in general. I remember a vid a long time ago where she was just squeaking a floor board back and forth with her feet. 😆
Videos like this and the Ward videos are my favorite. Where things are slightly planned but without a time pressure so there is room to go with the flow.
Very enjoyable. I've ridden in this area quite a few times on my road bike (from Okutama Station and up and over the mountain then down to Musashiitsukaichi Station). I was hoping you would stop at Tomin no mori on the way down. It has a car park, a place to eat and get refreshed, as well as a hiking trails. But it was great to see some out-of-the-way places I haven't spotted yet. Really recommend it. The tunnels are a bit terrifying, though, when you're on a (bi)cycle.
I've only seen Ome in Okutama, but the entire area looks beautiful. I hope I'll get the chance to explore it some more if I can eventually go back to Japan.
Dope intro. Need some old school “Take it to the yeah.” I think that’s what the song was called. Edit: found the old song from their website. Was definitively wrong about the title.
Had Wasabi ice cream in the UK before, Lidl were doing it, loved the stuff but I’m sure it was really green horseradish ice cream, not the stuff you got here!
It's actually two new cameras, a lot of the "action" bike riding shots are on the DJI Action4. The walking around stuff is mostly on the Pocket3. Some of the lowlight motorbike stuff at the end was on the Pocket3, including the very dark monkey stuff. However from the xmas light bridge onwards we were using the A7Siii because the memory card of the Pocket3 had filled up. The a7siii is also just such a low light beast. -E
We were surprised to be served a fresh stalk (?) of local wasabi on our recent trip to Noboribetsu. I never thought wasabi would be something that could be grown in Hokkaido.
(4:44) Hey - that looks like a _GOOD_ god dam to me. If _I_ had one of those - I'd probably give it. But sadly I don't. But then I really don't care! lol
like, it'd be said independently outside of something like "yummy-scrummy"? Someone would say "jolly good one Pip, these jellied eels are scrummy!" or something?
@kydeanderic Lmao yummy scrummy itself is actually pretty British! But yeah we say 'scrummy' by itself as well ... I say "we", it's a bit old fashioned and middle class 😂
Fun ride! Interesting fact about the mandated years delay before scootin’ with a passenger. Hope Kyde can eventually get the boat that she mentioned wanting in the previous video. I use to wonder if you’d ever want to move back home to the US, but this video feels like you’re already home.
I should see about getting an electric scooter. It would allow me some more mobility. Maybe not scooty level but it would open up spaces I wouldn't normally be able to get to.
Go scooty Go!... Great video and Eric to have "a backseat driver" with him again :). BTW did you try the DJI Pocket 3's dynamic framing mode if that helps to keep one of the faces in the "corner"? I just bought the gadget too and planning to take it to trip to South Korea this spring!
yea, this was actually the day after we got it so we were learning on the fly lol. it's an amazing camera, but has some minor frustrations with how it deals with framing and motion, but overall for the size and price it's in a league of it's own.
@@kydeanderic A bit easier to carry around than a full-frame camera with gimbal. Of course there are caveats but I think we are always in a quest to find "the perfect camera" :). Do you already have any hints what settings to use while filming?
@@mikkovirtanen8539 i think their LOG isn't so good. I just shoot on normal color mode, it seems to actually have more dynamic range, but I haven't deeply tested it yet, just noticed it from casual fiddling. This video was filmed in log, however. I've also started to underexpose -0.3 bc I think the camera hits a tad hot, but i'm still playing with that as well. I have another video I'll be editing soon that we used the pocket a bunch on. The 10bit recording is so nice though, to me that's almost the best feature.
comment if you found the scene i forgot to apply a LUT to lol.

i decided that scrummy is scrumptious and yummy.
I didnt know you color corrected your videos. Lets hear it for production value, YEAH! now im looking for it.
i shoulda known. I thought it was just PRETTIER in Nihon.
@@TheForsakenCouch i don't do much, in this case i just shot in log to see how it looked and slapped a prebuilt lut on, nothing fancy.
Aww his 'precious cargo', this was super cute ❤
They are so cute together.

Perfect start to the day. Kyde and Eric and hot water and lemon 😊
Not the gat dam and the hot dam 😭

haha, yea, it took a while to do that but I'm mostly happy with how it came out! Glad you guys enjoyed it. -E
Love Kyde’s 70,s retro ski jacket! 😍

This one was pure vibes! One could say it was yummy scrummy :D
Intro and all the riding footage was super on point. Really enjoyed it.
I’ve missed you guys. Congrats on being able to travel with the precious cargo. Can’t wait to see what’s to come.
You missed the opportunity to add the "Street Hawk" Theme music - Looking forward to more scootin' with Kyde!
Ok wow, it finally happens. Eric and Kyde on the scooter together at last . Ride safe . BTW the dressing up for biking montage was lit !!!
Love watching a new K&E video with my coffee in the morning
love how kyde explains things. "like a 9 volt battery" =)
7:38 alien spotted!
cool little video, very chill and relaxing, and a very beautifull place to explore, with lots of curly roads, and finally a scooting kyde appears
I love that you guys pick out the little things on your trips!
You guys are the best! ❤😊
Thanks Kyde and Eric
The "Scrummy" in "yummy, scrummy!" comes from Scrumptious (tasty / delicious)... 🤓
Very much English...🤠

Again a beautiful video about Japan.
The only comment i want to make... The NATURAL sound design is so AWESOME GUYS

Yea, there are a lot of little spots to explore, we were a little short on time that day however. No worries, we'll be back up there for sure.
YAY! Kyde can finally ride!
Somehow in my head the song goes ' scoot scoot scooty batooty' 🤷♀️
welp that's it new lyrics dropped
I've only seen Ome in Okutama, but the entire area looks beautiful. I hope I'll get the chance to explore it some more if I can eventually go back to Japan.
Miss seeing you guys! Feels as if you're not uploading as much 🥲
I thought the same thing! 😭
I was surprised when he said it was December. Hope they are ok.
"Scrummy" means "scrumptious".
Eric, be careful while driving especially between cars.
yey new video !
Long Time My Fellow Space-Cadets...
I've had wasabi ice cream, I thought "tastes like static."
hahaha that's a great description! -E

Wasabi is the true flavour. Spice and ice.
Nice little moment @瀬音の湯 @19:36. Looking forward to a "precious cargo"'s "condition report" at some point 🙇♂
Cosy ride ✨ I hope we get some sakura vids soon
Living the dream! I was up your way 3 weeks ago. Let me know if you will come down my way at any time. All the best from shiga.
Had Wasabi ice cream in the UK before, Lidl were doing it, loved the stuff but I’m sure it was really green horseradish ice cream, not the stuff you got here!
I watch souly for the scooter intro song. So disappointed I'm going to need to rewatch old content to get my fix.
lol sorry
love Kyde's jacket, lookin smooth. Also the new camera is looking awesome aswell. Was it being used for the lowlight shots also?

Oh nice, not sure I've seen it up there. -E
"That was officially years ago." Living dangerously there, Eric?
Yea, might have been a tad saucy there. -E
Killer videos dudes!!
Okutama is great.
(4:44) Hey - that looks like a _GOOD_ god dam to me.
If _I_ had one of those - I'd probably give it. But sadly I don't.
But then I really don't care!
lol
We remembered the bicycle trip you guys took so it is nice to see the area around Okutama in a different season.
That was a different lake, I think you are thinking of Lake Biwa. -E
I believe that was Ashinoko...
@@kydeandericHas the Japanese recession officially kicked in yet will it affect you guys or can you ride it out ?

yea shes a babe in that thing

yea, this is very much home.
Scrummy = Delicious, it's an English word from the English language 🤣
I hope kyde will get used to scooty, my wife and I already had many good times driving around on our scooter! :)
She enjoyed the day, I think they will be great friends! -E

1:25 EMERGENCY!
Kyde's seat looks comfy af. Can she lean back properly without pushing the back bag off?
Yea, they even make a soft backrest for it. I'm...pretty sure it won't come off if you lean on it LOL. -E
I should see about getting an electric scooter. It would allow me some more mobility. Maybe not scooty level but it would open up spaces I wouldn't normally be able to get to.
Yea, to be honest even a small scooter for around town would be great if cycling can't work out for you. I support all scooties.
What is that on the roof ? ...... frame 7:39 Did you miss it ...
🐑
That did look yummy scrummy
