3 tbsp of Tide or HE laundry detergent and 1 gallon of hot water. Low suds and works great.

The peroxide needs to be stored in a container that light cannot get through to it like a solid plastic. I am not sure if you should add the peroxide to the mixture but instead add it to the tank each time as it may lose its power if it is mixed and stored for too long.....? But i do have a peroxide bottle that has a sprayer on it and it works great for spot cleaning! Also, always rinse the carpet with just water as the soap will attract dirt. Thank you!
