When you very first add the water, it doesn't gel up immediately. I write on the jug that I am using to shake well bc it does get thicker, and I want to make sure it's evened out. (I hope this makes sense)

I wish I had these answers for you. All I can say is to give it a try. (On the air dried rabbit feet that is...) I have never heard of Borax substitute. I would think that it would work, though.

@Homer2q I absolutely love this. ~No accidents. There must be a reason why we are crossing paths. My ancestors were definitely in buckskin. I love feathers and keep every one of them that I find. I needed a homesteading name for my channel and I originally wanted green feather because I love to garden, but it was taken. I thought about blue feather because of the sky, the ocean, and it's a beautiful calming color. It was NOT taken, so it was 🙏. It became my name. 💙 😁

Fantastic!!! I love this little jelly and jam maker. That's nice to have some farms around for fresh fruit. I have tried to grow blueberries with no success 😖 Maybe this will be the year! When we first moved into this home, they had a grape vine, and it was growing some beautiful grapes. Our sheep ate them and the leaves..... it never came back. Oh well... they enjoyed them, I suppose. Anyway..... have a blessed day, my friend!!!

I have completely replaced regular tea with yapon holly tea. It’s actually delicious when sweetened with honey and a dash of lemon.
