  • We headed up to the Australian launch of Suzuki's new GSX-8S on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. The 776 cc parallel twin is certainly a step up from the outgoing 650 cc v-twin in the SV. Find out how Wayno thinks it compares to Honda's new Hornet 750.

I love these smaller capacity twins, especially after owning my 790 Duke. I have more fun on that than the litre bikes I have owned. The dash on the 8S looks quite nice and clear. The looks are growing on me as well!

Great bike! Love mine to the extreme. Not fussed about a pipe. Better looking than the cardigan Hornet😉😂😂

Would this be a good step up from a Z400?

      Yep 👍
Awesome fun. Wouldn’t be too much bike for those stepping up. And still fun for more experienced punters. Very nice

I didn't notice any vibes mate, no. Can't say I heard any of the other journo's mention it either.

To me it vibrates a lot more then I expected around 6k and up. I drove my bike back mostly highway when I got it and my legs were numb after about 100 miles.
For my normal rides its fine but will look around to see if I can find pegs with some rubber on it.
I also wish it had a little more top end.
