I ordered mine between xmas and new years 2023. Went down to cfmoto to have a talk and they said there would not be any demos before first order confirmed and the only info he had was a printed sheet and specs. That was all they had from head office. I had a think ( I was already sure I would like one) and put down a deposit.
I'm south of the river in Perth W.A. The dealer already had at that stage 49 total pre-orders. There are 3 dealers in perth metro area and one in Gero ( about 500km north of Perth ). Four dealers is all I can find for Western Australia
So I was surprised only 300 odd total pre-orders for Australia .
I been waiting for a decent Aussie or english speaking review or thoughts on this bike.
There has been too many pre-views which mean bugger all.
    Thanks for getting this up.

As soon as you mentioned that "some people will complain about the weight of this bike, they want an enduro or a rally bike" you earned my sub, i am tired of people saying this bike is too heavy or underpowered, while at the same time, speaking highly of the RE Himalayan 450, or some other 650cc+ bikes that weigh up to 20 kilos more, the hypocrisy to scrutinize something that didn't really exist before at this price point is offensive, this bike weights the same as my Versys X300, with more power, way more torque, a gas tank as big, bigger tyres and rims, with better, beefier suspension. How can they complain when there is nothing like it at this price point?

Thank you for the balanced review. Yep, there's always someone complaining about the weight, talking about disappointment because it's not a unicorn. The problem is, an actual unicorn can't exist. If you want something good on the freeway, it's going to be a beast off-road, etc. The complainers just need to buy an Enduro or rally bike and then have their street bike to go with it. Seems to me the 450MT is 90% what the t7 is but with less power And maybe 60% of the cost. AND, is much easier to pick up when you go down. I didn't want to keep waiting for this here in the US, so I picked up a scrambler 400X to have some fun on. So maybe next spring :-) by then there should be lots of aftermarket support and kinks worked out.

    • @DJKHOTTA

AGREE 100%, I have a Versys x300 and it's weight has not been a big issue for me, specially because when i ride on road for long distances )which every adventure ish motorcycle should be able to do easily) the wind can often get crazy, if my bike was too light, i would have a much harder time riding on the road. For me, the weight is perfect because the bike can potentially out cruise the x300 and i wouldn't like to cruise at 120 km/h on a bike that's just 160kg, i'll leave that to the moto GP pilots.

I was really hoping this CFMoto 450 MT would be lighter than my tuareg but at 195kg ish wet they are pretty close. Since you have ridden the tuareg and a T7, any comparisons between the 3? Have you figured out any reasons besides price to have the 450 MT instead?

    • @Vicko026

If you have the Tuareg already - keep it. Its the best of the three by a fair margin. The MT feels like a lighter T7 with its weight not as high. But if you're wanting something lighter to do gnarlier things than the Tuareg, the MT is probably not the bike you're looking for. You're looking for a Enduro/Rally/trail bike...

great video. Ive seen a couple of reviews say 450 Him is probably more dirt focussed, than 450mt. Without riding back2back, what is this based on ? Is it purely the chunky, nostalic feel of the 450 Him? ..... from what I can see on paper, the 450mt has more power, better suspension adjustment, and less weight ... can you please explain. Thanks

Very hard to say without riding back to back as you say - and there cant be too many people have ridden both surely..?? @@KurtGAndersen I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not, but modern exhausts with big cat converters weigh a lot more than older exhausts. Replacing with a full system on some bikes can save as much as 10 kilo - not kidding. All due to emissions requirements. Likewise modern abs systems and associated sensors and wiring… people underestimate what wiring and sensors weigh.

The weakest link in anything mechanical these days is the electrical system. The more tech involved, the higher the potential of failure. Gone are the days when bikes were simple, only requiring an ignition winding, and a set of points to ensure reliability. The Chinese engines have really advanced from a mechanical standpoint.
However, it will be seen if the electrical systems are robust enough to ensure reliability. After all, BMW switched to Nipon Denso due to the shortcomings of Bosch. Perhaps CFMOTO should look towards a company with more experience to ensure electrical reliability, in the short term at least, much like their use of Canadian CVT transmissions on their Quads,
