Bro, i have the same Wipro plug to check the wattage and i use a 1.5 ton inverter AC. If I set my temperature to 27-28. My wattage after 10-12 hours of usage is 2-3 units. Trust me, 28 is cool enough that you require blanket after 1-2 hours of turning it on. That's because AC not only decreases the temperature. It also decreases Humidity. Humidity is the main thing we want to decrease. Not the temperature. My humidity goes down from 78% to 23% in an hour or so. Temperature if I set to 28, it would still be between 25-26 because I have a Humidity and temperature reading machine in my room.
In your case, it's trying to achieve 26. But, it might be 27 or 28 degree as it's running in 40%. In my AC, i have seen it running under 30 watts. Yes, 30 WATTS, not a typing mistake which is lesser than a ceiling fan. So, this Kind of AC is useless paying extra money. Just get an inverter AC. That's more than enough.

@@augustinejoseph8015 Voltas 1.5T 5 Star. Any inverter AC would do the job. They are meant to run at low wattage once they achieve the desired temperature.
Use original energy meters for measuring consumption and actual load. These devices show only approximate values and are not recommended for preparing consumption analytics. For steady loads errorrs will be less , but for variable loads error will be more. Many tests prove that meyering using devices like smart plugs are not reliable.

This AC compressor is VARIABLE SPEED COMPRESSOR. The compressor works with cooling load demands at various time. Starting time to , say at 30 deg C to cooled set temp in room, 22 to 24C. Comp load, power rating Kw, not stated. May be 0.6 kw to 1.6 kw max for variable speed. unit.

LG technician വന്നപ്പോൾ പറഞ്ഞു അതിന്റെ pcb ബോർഡ് complaint ആണെന്ന്.. pcb ബോർഡ് നു ഒരു വർഷം മാത്രമേ ഗ്യാരണ്ടി ഉള്ളോ എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു.. അത് ചേഞ്ച് ചെയ്തപ്പോൾ 4800 രൂപ ആയി..എന്റെ അഭിപ്രായത്തിൽ ആരും LG തിരഞ്ഞെടുക്കരുത്.ഒരിക്കലും കേടാവാത്തതിന് മാത്രമാണ് 10 വർഷം ഗ്യാരണ്ടി.. ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ മാറ്റിയ pcb ക്കു 6 മാസം ആണ് ഗ്യാരണ്ടി..

There is an App called LG A/C Smart Diagnostics for mobile phone, to be used along with the A/C remote. I am not sure whether it can produce a chart or graph showing trends.
It is only for diagnostics, we can check if there is any error , also it displays room temperature , outside temperature etc...
