In the bid-war, Sonic & Tails was beating Knuckles & Knuckles by $10. I donated $10 for Sonic & Tails during Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts before anyone knew Knuckles & Knuckles was a thing that you can do in Sonic Mania. Therefore, Sonic & Tails won and I only have myself to blame.

I dunno about this Hydro City zone, but I think Hydrocity Zone is the best water level in any Sonic game.

If Mania ever gets DLC (I know that they said they don't have plans but still), what Stages/Characters would you guys like to see?
I'd like amy like she controls in advance, (or at least advance 2 if the ball form is needed), and mighty and ray skins. Also, star light, mystic cave, metropolis, ice cap, and death egg. If we wanna go game gear, jungle, sky high, aqua planet, and sunset park
For me I'd love the Chaotix, and we already have Classic Movesets for them, and for Stages I'd like Spring Yard, Scrap Brain, Aquatic Ruin, and Ice Cap.
Remade zones from the GG/MS games, and the Chaotix.
For characters I want Mighty and all the Chaotix, Silver, and one of the scraped characters: Tiara/Hannah.
For Zones: Angel Island, Spring yard, Aquatic Ruin, Mystic cave, Casino night, Metropolis (Johnny's Rage), A new Wood Zone, Genocide city, Hidden Palace, Marble garden and ice cap as samples.

Ok, so Titanic Monarch gives me Scrap Brain Zone vibes, Spinball vibes (The Machine), Metropolis Zone vibes, Death Egg Zone (Sonic 3) vibes, and That background fadeout gives me Egg Rocket Zone vibes when you reach a certain point in Act 1...and then, they decide to go all Chaos Angel in Act 2, as well as long ass mazes
And I love how the zone is so long, that the developers thought ahead to reset the fucking timer by the time you reach the final boss!

Angel Island in the water means that Phantom Ruby also does time travel. All it means is -1 Master Emerald which means Knuckles boss fight Lava Reef Act 2. Soooooo yea. Explained.
MedicBros YT Not really, more like it the Phantom Ruby countered the Master Emerald's power and forced the island from the sky after it landed from its dimensional breach.
If they put another Sonic 1 stage in the game, put in either Spring Yard Zone or Star Light Zone.
There's no need for either of those zones, because we have Studiopolis and Stardust Speedway, the latter of which is based on Starlight Zone, except it's a hell of a lot faster.

It makes me kinda sad that not a lot of people like the Metal Sonic boss fight. Like yeah the silver sonic section doesn't do a good job to clue you on the best way to beat it but once you figure out you can spindash into them, the fight became a blast to breeze through. It is easily my favorite incarnation of the Metal Sonic boss fights as the original had too many dick spike placements and the one in Generations was too easy.
I agree! I really enjoyed the mania version for metal sonics fight! I actually figured out to spindash the silver sonics into metal sonic pretty quickly. Its a pretty fun fight and it feels like they put quite a lot of effort into this boss too.
I liked the original Metal Sonic fight (before Encore Mode came out), myself. Much prefer the wall chasing me to a rehash of Death Egg Zone Act 2
