I never realized how much water is in this game until about 30 seconds into this video
I mean this is the first and only time we saw an entire city flooded so no matter what this is the game with the most water. (in the city)

So water was one of the like premier premium super special features of the Dreamcast, and was heavily emphasized as this NEW COOL SUPER thing and I think SA showcased it well
If you want 1st person, you can press up on the dpad a bit in Twinkle Circuit and you can play the whole thing in 1st person.
Seriously? I had no idea, and I've been playing this game since I was a kid lol.
@@___________0Z0X Lol. I only found out by accident myself, booted up the Dreamcast, went to Twinkle Park and got curious.
Turns out since the camera only resets when the character moves, and the character doesn't move until they exit the car, you can play in first person that way.
Dunno if it was a planned feature or not but it's pretty neat.

This was the perfect random hyper specific information about one of my favorite games. Also the perfect excuse to think about how great Sonic Adventure was. 10/10

You can replay boss fights in this game. it's under trial and minigames. Taking that into account, you missed the chaos 4 fight. The location is weird as you will be walking on top of an actual body of water, but it's still water. I think Chaos 0 takes place in the rain, and you said that counts. Chao gardens include some water in all areas, but i can't remember how many, so I'll just count each as 1. Also, chao races have swimming portions, but i dont remember which ones do, so I'll just count one.
In total, there are 44 bodies of water by your rules, with more potentually in the chao parts.
Well I would argue that the chaos 4 fight takes place in the same body of water we counted when we first got to the Mystic Ruins. I did miss the chao gardens unfortunately. We're the chao races not in SA2? I didn't think they showed up in SA1

@@sushipiegaming If it canonically being the same water means it doesn't count, you shoudn't have counted the Windy Valley skybox ocean as seperate from the Mystic Ruins ocean

Question: How did you get the HD water mod to work? It never works for me.
I just clicked the option for the water mod during the install and it worked

assuming that you’re using the dreamcast characters mod, don’t you find the textures strange? Like sonic and knuckles look super scaly and Amy’s outfit is in like 8k it just looks weird and Ai upscaled…
For Sonic and Knuckles, they’re fur textures
And Amy it’s material textures for her dress
