As "bad" as it got after a while I actually started loving ti more when it was getting easier. Instead of challenged, I just became a collector. And I loved it!!!
I just wish they released Opera Omnia as a paid game with all the content "Released" and available to be grabbed in some way (this includes weapons and characters) whether purchase for X amount of gold etc, so that way I can play just to have fun even if I know there wont be any future characters
@@RealBadNewsWashington yeah i jsut want to be able to do all the challenges of the game at my own pace offline and be able to go through the story of it again
It was dissidia that got me into being a kefka fan. I remember playing as Bartz and when he fights kefka he says something about kefka having the saddest laugh he has ever heard and that sparked me into learning about kefka and i finished ff6 for the first time.
Truly Dissidia and Duodecim together have some of the most hours I've ever thrown into a game. Would really love that formula of Dissidia to come back. I did love the gacha too but I really don't see SQUENIX ever releasing a standalone/complete version of that sadly. It wouldn't be hard for them to do it which is frustrating. They have literally ALL the assets.
Not a day goes by that I wish for a Dissidia Duodecim Remaster, as well as an offline version of Opera Omnia, much like what they did with Megaman X Dive. I usually dislike playing competitively but the original Dissidia and Duodecim were one of the games that I wanted to get better with my Judge Gabranth against my friends and acquaintances who also played. And as a Final Fantasy fan, I became even more of a Final Fantasy fan after being exposed to other Final Fantasys I've never had access to until my later years. I am a personal fan of the setting, with every character from the different worlds brought together and interacting with each other. Duodecim and the original Dissidia really set the world they are in as a proper Final Fantasy world. NT, flaws and all, had a good continuation of that story. And finally, Opera Omnia transcended past the NT storyline into what is uniquely Final Fantasy-esque. Til today, as a story person myself, I enjoyed every moment of the story. Opera Omnia hasn't been beaten by any other mobile game, and the place in my heart for Final Fantasy can be considered the world of Dissidia: Final Fantasy, itself. And that heart will continue beating for a Duodecim Remaster and even for an Opera Omnia offline version. Thank you for the video! I might need to start penning a script about my own story with Dissidia myself :D
I really miss Opera Omnia~ After it shut down I tried to get into other gacha games but none came even close to get me engaged as Opera Omnia did I hope dissidia comes back at some point in time
Duodecim is genuinely a masterpiece; it scratches a very particular itch for a sandbox fighting game, similar to Smash Bros. Melee. I played in tournaments back when it launched, and the game has sooo much player expression, it's ridiculous; Three players could all be playing the same character, but have completely different moves, equipment and play styles. It combined fast-paced timing-based action with strategy; constantly trying to keep your multipliers up and your opponent's down and always keeping an eye on your bravery, as well as stage bravery. The best thing they could do is give us a console remaster and just watch the amount of dedicated players there will be. Genuinely could make it to Evo.
I was absolutely obsessed with Dissidia and Duodecim. I remember kitting out several characters, especially Terra, and playing well into the late night. Congrats on your win, too!
When OO shut down I had hoped that Ultimecia’s BT could save it. After she couldn’t I held my iPad like the picture frame of a deceased child and sobbed.
I agree with you sir. DIssidia was an amazing franchise, whether it was on PSP, or opera omnia. Sadly the execs at SE, just like EA and Ubisoft, are incredibly good at shooting themselves in the feet so I doubt we will see another Dissidia :(. But we can still hope, I remembered that my favourite characters to play on the PSP were lightning, terra and gabranth :)
I was watching this video last night as I picked back up my psp to play Dissidia. It's a game I have so many fond memories of. A series that always gets me to appreciate characters from other games more than I can imagine. Dissidia got me hooked into playing XII through Gabranth. Opera Omnia got me to play XI 2 years ago through Eald'narche. And now fill circle, I fell in love with Prishe in XI which got me to pick back up my psp to play as her again. It's a special franchise I wish gets continued in some way.
My favorite Dissidia memory is playing it with my friend Daniel back in high school. We learned each other had a copy, so we started bringing our PSPs to school and faced off against each other at least once a week
Dissidia 012 was the first game that I truly followed from announcement to release. I remember scouring the internet after school every day for any new information on the game. Even now, the final trailer showcasing Yuna in all her playable glory still gives me goosebumps.
I came to the realization that out of all the time I spent playing both PSP games and being a day 1 player of the mobile game, Dissidia has taken the crown as my favorite FF and most played FF series 😊
I do miss Opera Omnia, the story felt like such a good lovesong to the fans from fans, and it made it much more fun to play, despite the gatcha elements and the later issues that began to show. It's how I found your channel too honestly! We need a turn based game like Suikoden, with the insane char roster, as a jrpg or something, that could be quite fun honestly. Or something, despite it's flaws, I do miss it, hehe. algorithm!!
Mobius, Record Keeper, Dissidia Opera Omnia, The First Soldier, Brave Exvius, all mobile games from Square Enix that have unfortunately been slammed with an End of Service announcement. (There may be more I'm unaware of, surely, I think a Kingdom Hearts game is in there too). With how many come and go it won't be too long before Ever Crisis goes too. I believe they have a problem maintaining their services or something because it seems like whenever they announce a new title or project, a mobile game dies. Dissidia got me to like characters such as Golbez, Terra, Vivi, Garnet, Shantotto, just to name a few, without playing their game beforehand, which of course got me interested in their source. Dissidia was good for giving players, both franchise veterans and newcomers something to look for. I was a big fan of Mobius Final Fantasy (favorite mobile game ported to PC, rest in peace) but it ran into the same issue Opera Omnia did near the end of its days. New content dropped, you were incentivises to pull the new thing with the big numbers because it hit the damage cap a few more times in one action, but could use other strategies with a little work. The thing I'm disappointed with most in how NT was looked at is, last I heard, we were supposed to get Zack and Vivi as DLC characters, but the game was too hated, they dropped everything, and opted to drop Dissidia as a whole which lead to Opera Omnia being the last limb in the series. They might not come back to it now.
i wish these games could be made offline and/or release on pc/console they were too good I've never been as invested in mobile games like i was with ffbe and ffrk i liked omnia too but had to drop it due to annoying ui and it was harder and harder to progress and get stronger i still have the og dissidias but my psp isn't working right with the disks anymore (and don't have the space to use the digital versions) i wish they could have gotten a switch/ps port/remaster like ff7cc
@@shadow4040 FFBE and FFRK could easily have been made offline games at the very least. Admittedly the amount of work that would need to go into doing so is... I'm unsure. Ideally it would just be as simple as segregating events into tabs like the global version was already kind of doing, in FFBE's case, and then divorcing it from the server. in FFRK's case it would be much the same but they'd probably have to lay the framework for one or two new tabs on the main menu. Omnia opera on the other hand, despite being cleanly set up for becoming an online app since well before the game closed, actually loses out because the multiplayer option is just gonzo. Admittedly soloing the game wasn't hard, but you lose the ability to do stuff like 3x of the most broken DPS in the game and end things in like one turn with three consecutive burst turn executions. And in the case of all three they'd need to do something about the gacha aspect and change it, something OO had more or less done by the time it closed anyway. They'd probably want to change things up in all three cases though since weapon tokens were admittedly a little annoying to get at the end of OO, and there's just this gap in the UoC stuff in FFBE and FFRK.
I miss DFFOO and the community within. I play Khux and Dragalia Lost, and they both ended. However, none has felt the same when DFFOO has ended. I miss comparing my banner pulls from Soul Discord, and I miss the people deeply. I miss vcing with my discord friends when a new event drops from OO. I miss the simplest times.
I still to this day miss Dissidia. I've spent so many hours across the various titles and really would love for it to return again In some form. I have spent well over 300 hours on duodecim alone. Plus the endless hours of opera omnia over the several years it was out.
Yeah I really miss Opera Omnia ill never play a gatcha game again ive put too much time into it, I still have my psp with duodecim and play it every now and then, Dissdia NT was alright i guess it took me almost a whole year to warm up to the game tho
I remember when nt was about to release i got called an idiot for being sceptical about the lack of customization and it looks like i was right in the end
Being a kid with 0 FF experience besides knowing cloud/sephiroth in KH, Dissidia's presentation alone made me care alot about the characters as if I was a huge FF fan in the first place. I used to think Gabranth was the most badass dude in existence, hell I still do!
Haven't played it in a couple years but I look back fondly to Duodecim. Duodecim Remaster would be the dream, Add Online Matchmaking to it and it would be even better.
Dissidia.... a game I will never see the light of day again. I played the PSP for a total of 1800+ hrs. I never let that game go for years. When Opera Omnia came out, I didn't hesitate to get into it like I did all those years ago. When NT came out, I didn't have a PS4, and I couldn't afford one. I WANTED SO BADLY to compete online. But I never got to. When PC version came out, I was lucky to finally play it but the multiplayer scene was dead even to this day. I was devastated. I never caught the online scene. Today, I now got a PS5, I plugged in a copy of Dissidia and subbed on PS Plus to try for online multiplay. Alas, it's also dead. All the matches I queued in to were also all CPUs so... yeah. Now that Dissidia is gone, it's become difficult to love gaming as a whole again.
I really liked Opera Omnia the most of the gacha titles for gameplay, at least for awhile. But I also really loved the story interactions, getting to see how the different characters reacted to each other and their differing or similar experiences. I think the best for me was the follow-up story stuff for the Type-0 cast, giving those kids a real life outside their original game. Also I'd absolutely play a game where Leila, Sice and Faris just went around being pirates. I wish they'd been able to do more with the Tactics characters, one thing I've wanted since finishing the original Tactics the first time way back when it first came out was more story content with Agrias, Rafa, and Mustadio and the like, characters who had strong moments but were kinda forgotten in the original game after their starring moments.
i really miss dissidia! i’m really hoping for a duodecim steam port one of these days but im not expecting much from the franchise going forward, which is really sad imo! it’s such a good spinoff in both concept and execution.
Funny enough, playing Dissidia Doudecim when it came out in highchool is what got me into what became my favorite past time: making fan sets for how a character I like might show up in a game that I've been playing a lot. To this day, I still find Dissidia to be the funnest series to do that for. A lot goes into those, and you can be kinda loose about balance and focus on customization. Hell, some characters I made ended up getting into NT later and I liked comparing and contrasting my old 012 kits with the new NT kits. Except Rinoa. My Rinoa was better. I also recently started doing that for OO too, which has served to be a rather unique challenge since most of my play time was during Burst era. Which means I have to not only consider _that_ character's kit, but also how it would interact with team building. I could, for example, make a kit that's a very powerful offense unit. But if it relied on too many self buffs or party buffs to get that offense going, it limited what support units could be ran alongside it. Similarly, if I built a character around debuffs, then Seifer would _love_ to pair up with them, but Kefka would have his toes stepped on. Plus it means that characters who wouldn't work in a normal fighting game, like Matoya from I, could be built here and have some of their stuff from Record Keeper carried over. Hell, I've actually been debating on making presentations for youtube on how I would handle these characters I've made kits for being in the Dissidia games. How they would play in each game, what their stories would be, and the music I would associate with their Lost Chapter and Burst in OO. And since OO already has damn near every big name out there, that means I can give attention to the weird, niche characters I love. Such as Benjamin from Mystic Quest or Yaag Rosch from XIII.
Dffnt was what it was because it was a port from an arcade, where you would not have the RPG elements. The error was not adding the RPG elements thinking it was not worth the investment when porting to consoles.
i never had the full games for dissidia but playing the demos on psp for them got me to give final fantasy as a series a try and ff4,6, and 7 are some of my fav games ever now and i probably wouldn't have tried them at least not for much longer if it weren't for that
I purchased the original Dissidia and shortly after, my PSP broke. 😭 Never could play it again, but I might try an emulator of it. HUGE fan of Opera Omnia, and I sincerely hope we see a return of it in some form. Turn based Dissidia is just chef's kiss for me personally.
The upcoming Final Fantasy and Magic the Gathering collab gives me Dissidia vibes since it's looking like it'll feature characters from every game in the series. It's no replacement for Dissidia of course, but I'm excited for it nontheless!
Opera Omnia was amazing. It was the only gacha game that truly hooked me. I miss it so much. Even at the endcycle with the easy fights due to the Force Gauge system, I still had fun. You know what I wish they'd do? A Dissidia Musou. I think the format of the genre is perfect for Dissidia. Hacking and slashing through hordes of Manikins and boss characters, but with the nuances of the Dissidia fighting system (BRV attacks, HP attacks, etc). Add online co-op (no PvP) and use the models from NT and I'd play that forever.
Dissidia left a very good impression on me too. And strangely, Duodecim even helped me when I was facing some bad depression. It had just the amount of what I needed to get my mind distracted, and partly because of that (but also cause I loved it), I played the game hundreds of hours without even playing against other players. Yeah, I'm the kinda guy who doesn't enjoy PvP. For these reasons, I tried and loved Opera Omnia too. Just like the original games, fanservice was everywhere, and dealt very nicely. It was just what I wanted. I played around 100h to NT also, but again, only with a friend against AI. That's how much I hate PvP. Lol. The game left a bitter fond memory because of what it could have been. Like many others, I'm really hoping for a new Dissidia somewhere, but with the old experience. All in all, I miss the game, and I would gladly pay some money for a full game. Gacha and DLC would be better without, but let's be honest, it won't happen, so I'd enjoy it if, at least, it wasn't a gacha. Nice trip to one of my favourite FF, Joesphyr. Thanks :p
It's nice to see someone whose experience with Dissidia matches my own so closely, right down to how Kuja became my favourite (a shame how NT botched him so hard) and loving the Duel Colosseum. I disagree on 012's story though, I think it's pretty great, especially how it seemingly connects to FF1 and Stranger of Paradise.
I spent many hours playing the original Dissidia on my PSP back in the day. I wish I had spent more hours on Duodecim, but I just kind of stepped away from handheld gaming for a while. Fast forward to the release of Opera Omnia and totally fell in love with the series again. Spent a lot of hours on TH-cam watching Broadway Saiyan, Black Nero, and you! I wish they made an offline version of Opera Omnia. The Dissidia games are great. Maybe I'll pick up NT and we could help each other earn the platinum trophy.
For dffoo I enjoyed the force time mechanics and figuring out if I could finish a fight in one or if I needed to go for multiple and figuring out ways to force my favorite characters into my comp. For a gacha game dffoo was also very generous, there isn't another gacha game out there that is as generous and I doubt there ever will be. Now that I've said my piece I shall let go. Thanks for the nostalgic video and good luck in your future endeavors!
I own the games, still play them, very sporadically though. I never completed NT as I felt something was amiss with the game. I'd go back and play it now, from the beginning, to remember it, but no one to play the game with. As for Opera Omnia .. played the game from day one up until the End of Service... I miss it terribly, but, I agree with what you said, especially the power creep. Would I like to see a remaster of Dissidia or Duodecim, of course I would! Would I like to see a version of Opera Omnia come back... Hard to say right now.
Opera Omina was my first experience of Dissidia since I don't have any PS system. Its never been about money and power for me because I never planned on fully booking a character eventually I fully booked Ardyn and Sephiroth...but it was never planned on their first appearance.Since I started playing in the EX/EX+ era getting an EX without realizing 15/35CPS was gold for me.Then when BTs came around it was pure luck if I pulled it and that helped clear Chaos levels. As a new player I started posting tips on Twitter that helped me which debunked what Vets say what you got to do.I rarely did summon boards so I proved power without a full book of weapons is possible.I hope Nintendo gets the next Dissidia game.
The psp games were so creative, fresh and had potencial. How did they went from this to this shit we got for ps4?! Shareholders and greed are the Nr1 cancer for the Games industry
I hope this franchise gets rebooted asap. Just do Duodecim thats all. Personally I would like them to go the Pokken Tourney route in where you can still zip around the map but there are moments where it becomes a 2.5D fighter.
I have been holding out so much hope that we get a Crisis Core Reunion style remaster for the PSP duology with decent online. I love all 4 Dissidia games (OO is legit the only mobile game to ever fully capture me long-term) but Duodecim and NT are definitely my favorites. I reminisce about countless hours spent playing against people in high school, running matches online via ad-hoc party and staying up all night on The Dissidia Forums in chatrooms or discussing the games and roleplaying. RIP Fissidia Forums :( What you said about Dissidia just feeling unique and being so much fun compared to other arena fighters def echoes how I feel.
The fact you could spend hundreds of hours just playing the countless modes offline going for every piece of gear and maxing out abilities is just absurd. Mogmail was so fun t9 read everyday and it would take ages to finally see everything. Fuuuuck Dissidia is so good. Just such a shame that NT didn't really have mich content to it. Story mode was barebones, unlocks were a total pain and outside of a mediocre boss rush mode there just wasn't any variety or intrigue in offline content. Dissidia 012 let you make your own fanfic nonsense in-game even if it was absurdly difficult to figure out how to use the mode well!
oh i do joe.... i miss it a lot, not a month goes by where me and my mates reminisce about opera omnia. i played duodecim on my psp sooooooooooooooooo much back in the day and jecht was the most fun character to play with his extremely hard to master but extremely rewardingly overpowered skill kit. NT was such a sad let down to follow-up from that
I remember writing fanrosters as a hobby before the reveal of NT but felt robbed with how poorly they handled it. It was reflected in how much it sold in both console and arcade cabinets in Japan with a few thousand copies sold. Hopefully there will be something in a few years down the line since I believe the devs wanted to do another game closer to the originals. Especially with the whole Dissidia Novum Iter that appeared at the end of Dissidia Opera Omnia. But with SE having a lot of mistakes and cancellations that hope feels slim. Though SE have been saying they are going with the multiconsole approach from now on for their games. At least the whole story of Opera Omnia is available on TH-cam after the official account posted it.
Honestly, if Square really wanted to capitalize on the recent trend that Capcom, Cygames, and even Nintendo has picked up recently by bringing back gacha games as their own standalone experiences (XDive Offline, Little Noah, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp), they should bring back both Opera Omnia and Mobius Final Fantasy and charge appropriately for both. It'd be a huge waste for the stories, gameplay, and characters from both games to be lost media.
If they did that with Opera Omnia, I think I could die happy omfg. Although I would prefer them putting it onto console because I hate using phones but beggars can't be choosers lol.
I was just thinking about this the other day. It feels like forever since it ended, but its only been a few months. I was thinking like man I sure would like to grind some BT tokens.
Yes, yes, yesssssss. I miss dissidia as a whole if it be 012, NT or opra omina. I started back on the first dissidia game all those years ago and it's still some of my favorite memories/experiences in my life. The originals ( Psp days ) was so much fun just playing the story alone but spent countless hours playing against my step dad and brother to the point we had everyone fully leveled to 100 on all of our systems... NT had issues, yes, but I think when you found opponents, it was a lot of fun and I'll still load it up every so often but never find anyone these days. For opra omina what I miss the most is the community working together and making a single player game feel like a group effort. If you ever start up a thing for people to play dissidia again ( don't care if it's NT or the originals ) you should definitely make a video letting people know the details. I 100000% would join if I'm free during that time.
I would love a Duodecim remaster on par with how Crisis Core was handled. If that's too much, they should at least make Duodecim available on PS5 through the digital store with trophy support. I never played Opera Omnia since I don't do mobile games, but I've seen the character interactions and they looked cool. I would buy a re-release that has all the content in it. I watched Taigen's Dissidia video, and he said that the idea with 3v3 in NT was to model the party dynamics of the mainline games. They should have made NT a 3v3 tag-team fighter like MvC, if that's what they were thinking of, if anything.
I have never played a Dissidia game. If SE ever releases a new one I am so down. I just had a thought though. Can you imagine if Arc System Works ever got the Final Fantasy license?
I loved the original and dissidia 012! I also played Opera Omnia everyday till EoS. Love the franchise and would love to see it return. As 012 remaster or new entry. I didn't play the NT outside story part, since I didn't really have friends to play with and wait times in the lobby were abysmal... Also Dissidia franchise remixes and OST pieces were masterpieces! ❤
I knew it was an arcade fighter, but I was disappointed back then to find out that NT didn't play exactly like the two PSP titles. It's a pipe-dream to be sure, but I REALLY want another Dissidia (PS5) game that _actually_ faithfully reintroduces all of the game elements from the PSP titles; including up to 8 [if not more] slots for "Brave" Attacks, and the same number and HP Attacks. Not to mention the ability to expand your equippable Accessories, Leveling-Up, and the return of EX Bursts.
I really miss Dissidia and even Opera Omnia, I really enjoy FF Crossover games. I remember loving FF Mobius too. I do wish we get a new FF game with preferably no gatcha but live service would be fine.
9:49 "It is well know that Ultimecia. If she's able to get her hand on you would demolish you, with nearly infinite combos." Well achktually, she's also well know for her zoning capabilities. Joke aside, I enjoys people talks about Dissidia, especially first two games. NT turns into MOBA and abandoned, most people also disapointed with NT.
I never got to use my free costume voucher at the end... was gonna get Celes' classic so I could have a headband party with Vincent's and Faris. Would it have been a terrible party? Yes! But I didn't care it was have been fun. Vincent is my fave and Faris is so cool, never could get enough of her LD animation! Anyone else with me?
I'm hoping for a new game with the rest of the Main Characters of Rain-Brave Exvius King Mont-War Of The Visions Tyro-Record Keepers Layle (Clevot)-Crystal Bears Llilte Member-Echo's Of Time Alhanalem (Yuke)-Ring Of Fate Selkie Member-Chronicles Rita-Tactics Advanced
I remember the times i played on dissidia i miss it too 😢. I am a competitive player andi love playing with and against other players so i was sooo excited for NT. But once i realised how slow and clunky the characters were it kinda broke my heart... I was a fan of ultimecia but in NT others just needed to walk to dodge my projectiles... Also i said others because i actualy never played against any other player in NT. It also took forever in the queue to find a match and it always was with AND against AIs. Not playing against anyone, climbing the ranks felt so useless so i lost interest in the game. What a shame. All i wanted was playibg ultimecia with that beautiful model... 😢
I loved Dissidia. Spent some good hours playing. The RPG aspect to a fighting game made me really happy. Learning new moves, getting stronger, getting equipment... Love it! It wasn't perfect. Honestly how chasy it was in its combat was not great. Sometimes it could feel like a race game lol But it was still fun playing it casually. And honestly I WISH Opera Omnia had been an offline game that we could just plug and play again. I love liked the evolution that game had (until a certain point). I miss it greatly!
Sure do. The original games were absolute masterpieces. I'd played a couple of Final Fantasy games before, but of course Dissidia gave me such an appreciation for every character, even ones I wasn't familiar with or wasn't a big fan of - every character was so unique, and genuinely really cool. Every single one of them, in my opinion at least. My stepdad lent me his PSP and the first Dissidia was in it. I remember opening the game and looking through the roster to see Leon from Kingdom Hearts... lol. Then after getting electrocuted by Golbez a couple dozen times in a row, he became my favorite character. Loved Opera Omnia for still giving us all that Final Fantasy fanservice, but at this point, all I would've wanted from another Dissidia is exactly what they gave us to begin with. The gameplay could be exactly the same for all I care and I'd be more than satisfied. The depth and the experience speak for themselves without all that NT was trying to add.
Duodecim is the best one because you get Dissidia content plus Feral Chaos and Gilgamesh too I wish it comes to the PSN store I so play it for 500 hours again
I feel like NT's 3 person would have worked as a separate mode as a free for all and for levels that had more going on to design wise, alongside the obvious smaller levels. If they just remade their previous levels and had the main mode be the 1v1, it could have actually survived.
I miss Opera Omnia so much :(, easily my favorite mobile game
i just wanna go back to like the chaos era of that game and just be able to play that again for another few months
As "bad" as it got after a while I actually started loving ti more when it was getting easier. Instead of challenged, I just became a collector. And I loved it!!!

I really miss Opera Omnia~

Another Dissidia fan here. I used to play Opera Omnia too! And I miss it terribly.
I hope to see it come back one day.
I want duodecim with more characters :(
@crowquet56 Agreed. Duodecim with some of NT's characters, like Rinoa and Locke, etc. Clive and Joshua would be great.
I was away in the military when I finished it on PSP. Having a nice escape like that made me tear up during the ending
I was absolutely obsessed with Dissidia and Duodecim. I remember kitting out several characters, especially Terra, and playing well into the late night.
Congrats on your win, too!
That Chaos Shrine ost gives the Melancholic Nostalgia vibes more than ever. I miss it all.
When OO shut down I had hoped that Ultimecia’s BT could save it. After she couldn’t I held my iPad like the picture frame of a deceased child and sobbed.
My love for Firionel (Firion) comes entirely from this game and playing FF2 on the PSP while playing Dissidia.
I would love to get a remaster of Doudecium similiar to Crisis Core Reunion... Would be awesome.
Or something, despite it's flaws, I do miss it, hehe.
algorithm!!
Watching Joe and this video as a homage and a celebration for those years with DFFOO
I’ll redownload NT and play with you! I haven’t gotten too far into it so would love to play it more.
Man, this game cannot be replaced 😭.
Imagine the OG dissidia games from psp, with the graphics from NT... What a dream...
Miss that omni opera
And yet, for whatever reason, Record Keeper persists in Japan. Who knows for how much longer.
@@AkaiAzul it exists in some sort of maintenance mode so probably a good while longer still. Can't say the same for FFBE.
i wish these games could be made offline and/or release on pc/console they were too good I've never been as invested in mobile games like i was with ffbe and ffrk i liked omnia too but had to drop it due to annoying ui and it was harder and harder to progress and get stronger i still have the og dissidias but my psp isn't working right with the disks anymore (and don't have the space to use the digital versions) i wish they could have gotten a switch/ps port/remaster like ff7cc
Me: Okay just got off work.
Also Me: Sees the video in my notifications...
Also Also Me: Dammit Joe 😭
I remember grinding for hours and hours to get all the accessories and whatnot on original Dissidia and having a blast the whole time
I miss DFFOO and the community within.
Glad you are doing well. Miss your videos but i completely understood.
I used to play every day and i really enjoyed everything about it, it was the first Gacha game i actually played and it was super F2P friendly
Being a kid with 0 FF experience besides knowing cloud/sephiroth in KH, Dissidia's presentation alone made me care alot about the characters as if I was a huge FF fan in the first place. I used to think Gabranth was the most badass dude in existence, hell I still do!
Dissidia Warriors, musou game with FF characters, why has that not been done yet?!
I wish Dissidia and Duodecim would be available on the ps4 and ps5. I wanna play it again so bad
Im so upset i didnt kno Opera Omina shut down until i found out Brave Exvius shut down damn man
i really miss dissidia! i’m really hoping for a duodecim steam port one of these days but im not expecting much from the franchise going forward, which is really sad imo! it’s such a good spinoff in both concept and execution.
I hope and pray they reboot dissidia franchise someday. One of my favorite fighting games and I loved seeing all of my favorite characters in HD
The upcoming Final Fantasy and Magic the Gathering collab gives me Dissidia vibes since it's looking like it'll feature characters from every game in the series. It's no replacement for Dissidia of course, but I'm excited for it nontheless!
I was excited about it too until I spotted the AI art used in the set, as an artist, I was heartbroken :(
@@Joesephyr which is crazy because SE has some amazing talented artists.
Can’t we reach out to the DEVS!?!? We need this game back!!!
I disagree on 012's story though, I think it's pretty great, especially how it seemingly connects to FF1 and Stranger of Paradise.
i still go back to NT to do an arcade run sometimes or playing the originals on psp emulators, it's such a shame the series had to end the way it did
Mannn Dissidia was great. I played so much opera omnia and duodecim. Maybe one day, a remaster for Duodecim happens.
I became a huge Final Fantasy I Warrior of Light fan.
I have recently been going back and watching old dffoo videos!
I do miss it too 😥
Come on Square. Do the right thing and make a proper Dissidia.
Agreed! I miss the old Dissidia.
Really hope we get a spiritual successor to Dissidia closer to the PSP games and with even more playable FF characters.
Hard to say right now.
a fellow Kujie Koo main
Its downright criminal that NEITHER of these games have gotten a port to a modern console, or even PC...
RIP Fissidia Forums :(
What you said about Dissidia just feeling unique and being so much fun compared to other arena fighters def echoes how I feel.
NT was such a sad let down to follow-up from that
Thank you!❤
I remember writing fanrosters as a hobby before the reveal of NT but felt robbed with how poorly they handled it.
I see Dissidia and I clicked automatically. I miss this game, and just playing Theatrhythm makes revisit the PSP and old Opera Omnia videos.
Now that I've finally managed to get past the "beginner" phase of fighting games I would adore a new dissidia to sink my teeth into
Honestly, if Square really wanted to capitalize on the recent trend that Capcom, Cygames, and even Nintendo has picked up recently by bringing back gacha games as their own standalone experiences (XDive Offline, Little Noah, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp), they should bring back both Opera Omnia and Mobius Final Fantasy and charge appropriately for both.
It'd be a huge waste for the stories, gameplay, and characters from both games to be lost media.
If they did that with Opera Omnia, I think I could die happy omfg.
Although I would prefer them putting it onto console because I hate using phones but beggars can't be choosers lol.
I’m glad other people loved this game as much as I did. I’ve actually met anyone else who played it. Hope they bring it back.
If I can figure out the logistics, I'd love to give it a shot!
I was thinking about Clive Rosfield should be here in Dissidia Final Fantasy for once again!
Makes me glad i still have my psvita, can play dissidia as much as i want... but i do really miss opera omnia

"It is well know that Ultimecia. If she's able to get her hand on you would demolish you, with nearly infinite combos."
Well achktually, she's also well know for her zoning capabilities.
Joke aside, I enjoys people talks about Dissidia, especially first two games. NT turns into MOBA and abandoned, most people also disapointed with NT.
I dying to play opera omnia again ... I miss really really mis opera omnia
I'm hoping for a new game with the rest of the Main Characters of
Rain-Brave Exvius
King Mont-War Of The Visions
Tyro-Record Keepers
Layle (Clevot)-Crystal Bears
Llilte Member-Echo's Of Time
Alhanalem (Yuke)-Ring Of Fate
Selkie Member-Chronicles
Rita-Tactics Advanced
yes opera omnia it was only game i ever played on mobile from day 1 and never missed even 1 day .😥
I miss these games so much
I AM NOT OKAY
Watched some of my old DFFOO TH-cam videos.. best mobile game EVER.. put in countless hours playing the original dissidia games!!
Never got to play the dissidia games. But they always looked cool
I loved Dissidia. Spent some good hours playing. The RPG aspect to a fighting game made me really happy. Learning new moves, getting stronger, getting equipment... Love it!
It wasn't perfect. Honestly how chasy it was in its combat was not great. Sometimes it could feel like a race game lol
But it was still fun playing it casually.
I remember so many were saying the game is no fun anymore because of the FR Era , but I was not with them , I still Play it and had fun with it .
I'd be down to get back into NT to get that platinum
I feel like NT's 3 person would have worked as a separate mode as a free for all and for levels that had more going on to design wise, alongside the obvious smaller levels.
If they just remade their previous levels and had the main mode be the 1v1, it could have actually survived.
We need a mousou dissidia game
