As I understand it, you can take the ferry/speedboat to Phi Phi to visit/stay.
Separately you can take a speedboat from Phuket to tour-sightsee the various islands. Correct?
Yes Phi Phi is around a 1 hour speedboat ride away. Did video on that. You can do a full day trip to the islands , James Bond island, snorkelling etc and swim and sunbaked on small islands all in a day and stay back in Phuket at night , easy.

Thanks, I had a lot of trouble editing that video on my iPad and when I tried to re-edit I picked some wrong clips and used the low res version instead of the high res. Also iPhone footage did not come out right on the video codec in premier pro.
Great video man! Whats with all the mask wearing outside though? Are they super strict about that... just seems unnecessary, especially in an outdoor setting lol
Thanks Mate. no one ever told people to wear masks ., it was just people following others lead and not wanting to test positive before they fly home. I think as time goes on you will see less and less people with masks . Especially now they are dropping the requirement to test 72 hours before you fly out home.
We are going to Thailand in July and plan to stay at Phi Phi Island instead of Phuket. Do you have any recommendations what hotel is best in PhiPhi Island? Also how to get to Phuket ferry from the airport? Taxi or other option? Cost and time? Thanks
We stayed at Phi Phi Co Co , SAii Phi Phi and Zeavola. I will do videos on all these , I just need time to edit them. If you want to stay in the main shopping area then out of the 3, Phi Phi Co Co is closest. Still about a 10 minute walk away from the noisy min area and on the back beach , direct access. They have a great romantic movie night every night around the pool . Rooms a re quiet small but the place is nice. Food good quality and cheap. Have stayed at Co Co twice .
Zeavola was a bit over priced but very nice. Food average, location great .
SAii Phi Phi is my favourite. Real island feel , short 6 - 10 min speedboat or 15- 20 min long tail boat ride from the main pier but best beach and much more relaxed away from the tourist crowds. great little village a 5 min walk behind the resort to explore . They have bars, massage , Restaurants.. Easy boat ride over to Maya bay etc . Absolutely hands down my top pick.
The main Ao Ton Saw Pier area where you get off the boats, is very busy, noisy and crowded with tourists . Ok for a walk around but I wouldn't want to stay in that area ever. My suggestion is SAii for 5 nights and 2 nights in CoCo

Yes , used an insta360, and a GoPro 7 . My iPad crashed using adobe rush for 3 hours and for some reason most of the 360 footage did not work smoothly after the crash. I re edited about 5 times , re importing and re arranging and each time something went wrong. In the end I gave up and just published what it had.

Less than 1 hour the last two times I went out in 2022. Go phi phi island speed boat , the one in the video is the best I have found. Best boat.
How much was the speed boat from phucket to phi phi don.
From memory 700 baht. Twice as fast as ferry but more expensive .

thanks for the feedback, embarrassed about the quality of some of the video as I had issues with my iPad crashing while editing and it ended up using some low res footage and off colour footage from my iPhone but the message gets across I hope. and hope it is helpful.
