Tom Quayle and Alex Hutchings are 2 of the best players in the fusion world right now. One reason is I see them constantly pushing the envelope of their own playing.
I feel like no one ever mentions or name drops Alex Hutchings. If there is such a thing as best player ever, I would say it would be him. He is absolutely out of this world. It's no longer about mastering one genre, it's about mastering a multitude of styles.

I'm always wondering, is that a clean tone (maybe some compressor), or is it mild overdrive? This is how electric guitar should sound like, because it is the way it sounds unplugged. If we could treat electric guitar as a keyboard, this is the piano mode :) Please share the setup on this tone achieved. Thanks!

they actually paid money ... this is guitar retreat Spain. Tom is teaching for a week, everyday for a few hours and then we hang out. He was just paying my guitar here, so we were talking on the bakcground, no dissprespect to Tom at all.

+beebala3 dude, we spend 5 days together, playing and noodling all day long. He was playing my guitar and I was talking with the other guys, I was not that close but the camera pick up our voices very well ... you have hundreds of videos of Tom noodling with amazing sound quality
