Here is my absolute best attempt at covering a classic fusion piece called "Jump Start" by Greg Howe. I'm very lucky that Andre Nieri, Tom Quayle, and Greg Howe himself could join in on this fun little project! Since I'm having this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity working with some of my favorite and arguably the best guitarists in the world, I really want to make sure that everything sounds perfect to the best of my ability.
I would like to especially thank Greg for sharing his thoughts along the way! After 10 months of recording and mixing, I can finally release this thing to the world! I hope you all could enjoy the most ambitious cover that I've done so far!

First time I heard Greg was in 1995 with the track "Faulty Outlet" that left me speechless. Since then, I have a permanent "crash" with his music. I have got practically all his work including the collaboration work with Richie Kotzen. I always find refreshing to listen to him: It is Timeless Music, hard to achieve. It never tires you off! The same thing with Allan Holdsworth! Thank you so much for this amazing collaboration! This version is a killer!! Peace 🙏
Thank you for the kind words! Greg is an amazing musician and one of the nicest people I know. I'm so glad that some of his lesser-known masterpieces reached you well! As a matter of fact, I did a remake version of Tilt (originally featured Richie Kotzen) with Greg himself, just to bring a little bit more attention to that hidden gem. It's over on Greg's Channel. I remember hearing intro of this song in the beginning of 2017 and literally having my jaw dropped, thinking to myself after first 15 seconds of the song "this one will be good af". Since then Greg is among my biggest guitar influences. I had pleasure to see Greg play live in Poland 2018 exactly on my birthday. I think it is insane that not long after discovering Greg's music I got to be so lucky. Not only I saw him play, but also got his iconic Introspection CD signed by him. Having my Introspection CD signed by Greg is some of the best souvenirs in my life. I hope to see him play again as soon as possible. And by the way, this cover is absolute GOLD. Hats off, guys!
This is one of my favorite Greg Howe songs! This video is priceless, amazing solos, the collaboration of Greg, Andre, Tom and you was epic, by far one of the best guitar videos I have seen. Congratulations!

Thank you! I'm very glad that you enjoyed this! After seeing your channel name, I clicked in and watched some of your content on my remake of Tilt. I'm very happy to find out that you liked my remake version as well! As a fellow GH fan myself, I've always thought that Tilt was a little bit of a buried treasure, that's why I pitched that project to Greg in the first place. I'm just glad that I did not butcher Greg's thoughtful composition lol!
As a matter of fact, I'm planning on releasing a Guitar-Only Tilt (2020) playthrough video on my channel. So that people could see exactly what Greg was doing. Hope you'll enjoy that one too! Peace!
@@kaelwu7733 I actually covered Greg’s Tilt remake solo on my Patreon page note for note. His first note (that bend of the 5th) says everything, such an incredibly powerfull opening. Loved your solos as well man, that stuff with that kill switch !
