I have a log splitter with gravity fuel tank that this happened to (I’ll remember to shut off fuel supply going forward). Is there the possibility that oil change ONLY would resolve this, or since the problem happened is it pretty inevitable that I’ll have to dig into the carburetor? (PS .. I appreciate how concise your videos are)
Great explanation ty. Just fired up my generac pressure washer today for the first time since last summer and it died after 15 seconds so I checked the oil and it came shooting out mixed with gas.
My pressure washer done this to me and I didn’t know what was happening. I was told this was my problem. Other than dumping the old oil and gas from the block, what’s the best was to get the leftover gas from the block? Thanks for the video. It’s a big help
I have a problem with a honda generator, the gasoline reaches the oil sign, I changed the carburetor and it is still the same, what do you think is the problem? Since you say that Hondas do not have a gasoline pump!tanks
Pls I bought a new Gen, I've put oil, but I've not run for 30 mins, before I discovered that it does not meet specific, it's grade SD not even up to SF or SG. What do I do now?
I have a new Honda 2200 inverter generator that is doing the same fuel getting in the oil ...only when the engine is off...now... if I turn the fuel valve off when the engine is off it doesn't do it...
Yeah looks like I’ve left Fuel Valve On of my Honda for ages sitting in garage, now fuel tank is empty but as soon as I opened the oil gauge - oil poured out like water tap opened with pressure - pls advise should I change the oil & anything else need to be taken care off ? Obviously going to keep the valve off from now on when I’m not using it . Thanks in advance.
Thanks. Nice concise video to the point. I wish everyone would do their videos like this.
*Love how quite it is, New **Generater.Systems** maneuverable enough would be better with a little bigger wheel*
Nicely explained. It helped me a lot with same issue on my generator. Thanks a million.

Of course, after you fix the float needle and seat, or the external fuel pump, you will need to do an oil change! :)
is oil change enough or i have to do some sort of engine cleaning?

Get a suction gun
Thanks a lot, this video helped me to understand my problem
When removing the oil fil cap on generator, what would be the issue of it spewing out like turning on it water home type pressure
Same as he first explained, float needle isn't seating and the added gas then creates pressure which causes it to flow out.
I think you just solved my problem. Thank you!
Ok the first example is my issue . Well it was my first issue now I started mine and now it’s locked up is there any saving it?
