Lemán Manhattan Surprises Head of School with "One Day More" Flashmob to celebrate his Retirement!

- During the last faculty meeting of the year, Léman Manhattan Preparatory School teachers were provided time to "choose their own adventure" and work on end-of-year projects. However, instead of grading exams, completing report cards or packing up classrooms, these talented teachers had a different adventure brewing - a surprise performance for Head of School Drew Alexander to help him celebrate his retirement after 42 years in international education.
What a bunch of talented teachers !!
If I had colleagues that loved me enough to do that I would unretire with immediate affect. Such a lovely performance.
That's one lucky dude.

Amazing-what a tribute! "One Day More" is drug out for so many occasions when it doesn't make any sense, but here they've done a masterful job of rewriting the lyrics to fit the individual's situation. A lucky man indeed!

What is the probability that there are so many teachers who can really sing in one place? The fact that there could be a few teachers in the staff who have good singing skills is not so surprising. But this? Everyone here who has a microphone in their hand has singing skills that are not far from professional. I could understand if this was a school for music and performing arts, but as I understand, it's a regular school ...

Is a musical theater background a requirement to be hired as a teacher there? It reminds me of the South Park episode spoofing High School Musical and making fun of the incredulity of a normal school population (Leman Manhattan isn't a performing arts school) breaking out in skilled coordinated musical numbers. Except, apparently, Leman Manhattan teachers are like that in real life.
