I have actually had the pleasure of working on that exact aircraft when I was in the Air Force. At one point in my time with the unit, 487 was actually the squadron commander's bird so was actually painted slightly different to set it apart from the rest of the fleet. I was with the 335th FS from 2000 to 2003. Other than some minor errors on the painting, it is a well-done kit build. One suggestion for the future if you build one of these again. The Jet Fuel Starter exhaust comes out at a rear facing angle so the discoloration would be focused to the rear instead of the sides. The outline of the gun port is black and not silver. This error is on the kit so not your fault, the eagle decals on the verticals should be black not white and the green stripe goes all the way around the tail at the top. I know these are minor gripes, it is just hard to not say something when you have touched the aircraft in question. Great build overall.
Dear Cristina, I am honored and extremely grateful for your comments and advice. I bought this kit because of the positive comments about its accuracy and especially because of its price (I was unemployed during pandemic). When I discovered the story of this particular aircraft I felt fascinated and really enjoyed the building. All the best for you, and thanks for watching the video and leaving your comments.
Revell/Monogram always made kits that were well shaped with lots of good detail. Too bad they stopped making new kits and are now just reissuing old kits.
I am not an expert in Revell/Monogram, but I have built several Revell Germany. The situation is similar, and every kit is a complete surprise, some are very good (anyway far from a Tamiya) others are desapointing.
A business the scale modeling is. So the producer don't pay the worker to do more. The result is a product with less options. And all of buyers who prefer cheap. SO PITY. CONGRATULATIONS

Great Eagle there, I have the Revell F-15C and the G.W.H. F-15E both in 1/48 scale. Hopefully i have results similar to yours.
Thank you very much. Sure you will have great results.

Isn't she a bit too pale? Strike Eagles usually come in Gunship gray.
Vedran, it is actually gunship grey, but I had a bad camera that makes some kind of "white balance" with the black background. My mistake.

It was actually made in Korea, it doesn't look like a Hasegawa either
