    Wow! The details on the Remove Before Flight pin is insane! Using a solder is quite genius

    Hi, brilliant video. Can you please tell me what Testors paint you are using for your weathering? Thanks!

    • @platoki
      @platoki  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you so much for your questions. Sure! I use light brown and flat black mixed ratio as 1:1. I use testers thinner and when wipe off, I use “mineral spirits “ which is equivalent to enamel thinner. I hope it answers your question. Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks!

    Nice build and video.
    You have decent skills.
    However model is over weathered 😮 and missiles are totally wrong. AMRAAM AIM missiles are not white with black stripes like Russian missiles. Hopefully that's easy fix for you.

      Thank you so much for your comment and heads up. I will keep in mind next time to build this kit.

      He is correct about the missiles. The correct scheme is light ghost gray with black metallic fins and yellow band for live missiles. Also one other error. The forward NLG door is always closed unless open for maintenance on the ground. Same for the forward MLG doors on left and right sides. The only open landing gear doors is the aft NLG attached to the strut and the aft MLG doors beside the struts.

    Good work, but you made it far more dirtier then it would have been. I worked Langley F-15's for many years and they were never this dirty, i.e. too much brown.

      I just don't like when modelers do it and make fighter jets that are still in service look like something from WW II

    Do you still have the left over decals of this tamiya F-15C kit?

    • @platoki
      @platoki  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I still have some left over. Also I have one more same kit too!

    There are many works not present in the video. The accuracy of the model kit isn’t perfect, such as the both two sides of the nose of the plane.
