Nobody gets tangled up during the restart at 4:35. Amazing. It's a testament to the skill and consideration of all the drivers (and their engineers who spot for them). These in-car theater videos are among the very best racing videos on TH-cam. Thank you for posting them and please keep them up! :)
Just love the thrill of the super - fast gear changes & acceleration. The engines RPM also adds to the excitement!! The drivers make it look so easy & from the experience of Club Racing & DE Track driving, I can understand that it is NOT the case!!!
Amazing video ONBOARDS....keep these coming as this is some of the type stuff been missing from IndyCar as of late. We want that inside perspective and this is perfect.
FAN-bloody-TASTIC, the restart @ 12.00 is unbelievable. The cars are such demanding beasts to drive...some NASCAR fans should have a look at this video and they would be converted for life!
Lots of power, No power steering, no traction control, and no other assists. Just sit back and watch the drivers work and realize how badass Indycar is.
Good to see that Indycar is trying everything to get it's old "CART" days like glory back. Paul Page is back, this "Indycar Chronicles" series looks promising and with Verizon a new, better sponsor than IZOD. Good job so far Indycars!
I wouldn't say better than Izod did a lot of good for the series. It is great to see that Verizon has expanded its role in sponsoring indycar and it appears that Charter has stepped it up a bit too. However, we did lose Izod, GoDaddy, HP, and Barracuda over the off season and those were all big sponsors and big loses, especially Izod and GoDaddy.
As am long time Formula One fanatic I can say for sure that INDYCAR is starting to get close to the excitement and intensity especially with current F1. Great job and keep advancing these cars to the next level while remaining exciting and LOUD.
@indycars This is great but would be even better if you changed your video deinterlacing method. Right now you're getting a lot of duplication between frames, resulting in blurry video. A good example is if you pause the video whenever a car crosses the S/F line. Where there's a checkered pattern on the road, there's also a "ghost" of the same pattern, which shouldn't be visible if deinterlacing is done properly.

Awesome vantage point. Makes you feel like you're right there.

Pure open-wheel bliss....
And that home stretch is a pure drag race it seems like haha
Awesome montage!
Also, the camera controllers do a terrific job of capturing the action; F1 has a lot to learn from this.
Thanks Indycar you're amazing!!!!!
Awesome! I wish these views (sustained) were available live during the race.
I was sitting in turn 10 on Dan Wheldon Way in that race, thanks indycar

I love watching these in car theater after race wkend you end up seeing that you miss a lot during tv broadcast of the race
nice job Indycar. Indycar rules!!!

Nice sounds and great images

Yeah in recent years indycar has been improving and the fia has slowly been bringing f1 down. The regulations are getting rediculous
Yeah. F1 is more about the technology and constructors it seems like but it's still racing entertainment. I like both though.
This was great. Hope to see it for every race.
NOW I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE GOING TO GIVE US A VIDEO LIKE THIS AFTER EACH RACE OF THE SEASON
@11:55 If anyone ever says he's here for his name...
That was great
Sweet!
Good Good Good Very Verry good.

great video, but should be better with team radio talks
That turbo V6 just sounds angry.
Is it me or is the Chevrolet louder than the Honda?
Could be the mic set at a different setting. Or it could be the engine.
