I'm kind looking of forward to the 500 myself. I remember Gordon Johncock, Danny Ongais and the Unsers. I'm wondering how many laps Kurt Busch will make before he crashes.
Interesting to see the lack of Montoya action seeing that he passed the most amount of cars, but instead at the end closes with jumping the start.. Just negative... Then again in the Alabama race he put on a clinic on the wet but the editor or director decided not to show much from his car. Very curious..
Is hunter-reay lifting and coasting through the beginning of every corner or does he just downshift in really low rpm's? cause his onboards seem very weird/different from every other driver during the breaking/initial turning
Myles Chap yeah, unfortunately I would have to agree...I liked it much better when it was ALMS...However, if they focused more on the on-track battles, and less on pit stops, more onboard camera, and had commentary that was actually exciting, I think it would seem alot better.
They don't have to, but on a restart or a rolling start you can't pass until the green flag is waved. Once the pace car enters the pit lane the leader determines the pace and can decide to slow down before speeding off into the distance. It's actually a pretty common tactic you'll see used a whole lot in road racing.
am I the only one who hates the rotating camera on cars? with the framerate so low while it rotates it makes me wanna puke. switching between separate cams would be much better in my opinion (forwrd, backward, left, right kinda thing)
+slatan slatanek the low frame rate is probably because of the way youtube compresses the videos, so if you watched an actual live stream (on tv,) it might look allot better.
Indy cars are butt compared to F1 cars. Look at how early they have to break to get into turn 1 and how late they get back to the throttle. It's making me so mad. lol
This videos are literally the greatest, after driver's eye of course!
In-Car Theater is amazing! A great addition for a post race post. I just wish race highlights would be a good 10 minutes longer.

2:14 That marshal waving the yellow is brave. Hope no debris hit him.
The first person of an Indycar is so awesome to watch!
awesome reflexes from hunter-reay
Marco at 2:15 pretty nice move to the right!
Not one spotter called out car stalled. No wonder they all piled in.
why are the cars so hard to get off the line, do they have to use the same gearing as the oval?
Showwwww.formula Indy tem que ser mundial..

If this series adopted local yellows and a f1 style restart procedure, the racing would flow so much more.
Bianchi é a prova de que você estava errado quando mandou a Indy copiar a F1.

He's saving fuel in most of them.
7:04 Takuma Sato insano!
Moves like that one are why he's my favorite driver in the IRL.
BANZAAAAAIIII!
God damn that would be fun
I Wish F1 Races and Indianapolis Motor Speedway once again
Same
nobody talking about the 25 at 5:25 catching full air off the curbing.
numerous fantastic action caught on footage. Sadly ABC's producers are so LAZY that their national telecast ignores replays.
Indycar and the tudor championship should take notes from V8 Supercars and Formula 1 (either BBC or Skysports). Production quality is much better.
yeagemk The tudor championship race atmosphere just isn't that good.

Why did Takuma Sato have such a bad start? He raced at Indianapolis' Road Course from 2002-2007 WITH standing starts.
Remember these cars are a completely different animal compared to the F1 cars of when Sato raced.
Indycars don’t have anti stall like F1
Forgive my ignorance, but why do they have to slow down at the start/finish line all the time? I've not seen that in other racing.

2:58 Montoya detona Briscoe! hahaha
This is why we cant have nice things.....
Standing starts= EPIC
Rolling Starts outside of NASCAR = meh
..ish pending....
Oh next year and beyond lets do rollin rollin rollin YEAH!
am I the only one who hates the rotating camera on cars? with the framerate so low while it rotates it makes me wanna puke. switching between separate cams would be much better in my opinion (forwrd, backward, left, right kinda thing)
One of the many reasons CART was far better..

Logan Bluemel
Not really. It looks pretty much the same.
Why don’t they just do a rolling start. Seems safer.
Look at that 9:16
F indy muito mais competitiva que a f1..
今のドライバーって接触は当たり前みたいな感じ
これらの車は、より多くの接触を促進した後輪ガードを持っています。 インディカーは接触を減らし、ドライバーのスキルを磨くので、オープンホイールレースに戻ってうれしいです。

in F1 only 2 drivers have the chance to win... both from the same team. This is stupid.
***** - I just dont care...
its stupid a grid with 22 cars and just 2 contenders...
I feel if F1 had a lower budget and the cars weren't as advanced then the racing would be more competitive.
Iowafan92 - sure... but its seems that FIA doesnt want it.
Jalim Rabey The FIA/Caterham/Marussia/Williams/Lotus/Sauber want it. The rest are trying to veto it.
