A commendable performance. The fourth movement is taken at a slower pace than many other renditions on youtube, making it so refreshing to listen to, so clear, and not rushed. Surely a strong contender for the 2020 Chopin competition.
I love this pianist because she is able to give enough expression to to the piece still always keeping the right tempo without sounding to "scholastic "
only 36k views? for real? this needs more shout outs and recognition, her rendition is just the best, not too rush, not too slow. and she played my favorite part (2:54 - 3:56) just like the way i love and want, she put her feelings everytime she plays, and ive been following her since she was in that green dress, great job Natalie!
Un grande piacere ascoltare questa ragazzina che suona all'altezza di tanti famosi pianisti molto più anziani di lei. Ricca di tanta musicalità, un meraviglioso tocco, e una tecnica invidiabile sotto ogni punto di vista....
Great performance, thanks Natalie! The genius of Chopin never stops amazing me and this sonata is a clear example. Every movement is a masterpiece all on its own. The beauty and serenity of the four movements are divinely held together and are also very difficult to play by anyone but the best virtuoso's such as Schwamova. I have heard the Largo being played awkwardly by some famous players as the tempo, weight and balance change and the phrases are alternately complimented between bass and clef in a seamless manner, so a fraction of a second delay can ruin it. Even more so in Finale with its spectacularly undulating rhythm like no other work in piano history.
I can't stop listening this recording. There is so much poetry and humanity in your performance, Natalie. You have certainly touched the Eternity, through this sonate, I guess. Be always grateful to the Creator God for your talent.
I have yet to hear a better interpretation of this sonata. The entire piece flows very nicely. she has great potential to succeed in winning the 2020 Chopin Competition.
You are one of my favorite pianists! Like the flow of water, your playing is so calm and soft! Even though you don't hit the keys hard, I could feel the emotions inside! Thanks for the wonderful performance, hope to see you at the concert in South Korea later ;)
Musical memory is not the hard part, it's actually quite impressive how quick we remember things if we just repeat them over and over. If you repeat often enough, you can memorize phone books.
Wow, this is a really soulfully moving, expressive, and beautiful take of the 3rd piano sonata. The Largo (3rd mvt) really got me. I like how you paced yourself without rushing it at any moment and just letting it all flow so naturally. I started following you a few years ago, hoping (with your incredible musicianship early on) you might be the next major pianist in the upcoming Chopin competition in 2020 (after what we heard in 2015). This video shows us you're definitely well on your way musically. Keep up the awesome work and good luck with everything!
Dear Natalie, Thank you for sharing your talent with us. What I love is your freshness and the cleaning of your expressions always remaining adherent to the original score for interpretation. I wish you all the best for your life hoping to hear you soon in a real concert.
Her tempo is really similar to Argerich's in one of her latest renditions. There's one uploaded during the pandemic which I enjoy as much as this one. Marvellous!
Zauberhaft! Ganz besonders das Largo . . . Poesie in Tönen. 🌺
Natalie Schwamova: Chopin vom Feinsten 🎶🎹❤
Mov. I (Allegro Maestoso) : 0:00
Mov. II (Scherzo : Molto Vivace) : 9:40
Mov. III (Largo) : 12:32
Mov. IV (Finale : Presto, non tanto) : 20:44
Pierre Berne Thanks!
Bless you.
Grazie
Thank you
Beautifully played !Thanks

Finale just the right tempo. Not rushed. Very impressive performance. I like to think this is how Chopin would have liked to hear it.
I totally agree, she makes it look so easy.
So subjective
Too slow.
@@andy85s71 Chopin don' t wanted to play to much speed ; he don't have writed
pages of exercises for to learn how to play speed.

Terrific performance, enhanced by a crystal-clear piano sound - hats off to the recording engineer.

Wonderfull interpretation, very musical person and surely a hard working one. I wish all the best to you, Natalie.

Well... that aged badly.
@@pubgplayer1720 yeah, kinda pissed on how it turns out
@@terbigail Yeah, I wanted to attend the competition; until things turned tits-up and there was no longer any competition!
Two words - Kate Liu
@@pocnit she wasn't even that good
She is so amazing, so connected to Chopin., the piano, just a natural talent. Love her
The 6 dislikes are from the other contestants at the 2020 Chopin Competition. It must be hard for them watching this.
Erm..... I don't think so. But the competition is postponed to 2021
Why would somebody who was eliminated in Stage 1 of the XVII competition strike fear into anybody?
Bravo Natalie. You are a great pianist. This Sonata is a true masterpiece and represents the culmination of Chopin's lifetime of piano playing. Dawid.

Wonderful recording quality! and of course wonderful playing
Not just beautiful playing but a beautiful demeanor at the keyboard.

One of my favourite chopin peices 😃
Another Alice Sara Ott in the making, especially the overall flow, legato & pianissimo...
Nice, moving rendition! Congrats!
Amazing Sonata, I love it so much!
Congrats Natalie...
Beautiful!! Accurate and emotinal.
Wonderful! That sonata is easier to performe on a Steinway to make those base notes sound clear, crispy and profound.
Impressive !!!
Excellent performance. Bravo!
The opening was majestic.
Believe I've said this before on this girls videos but she is going somewhere. Amazing...
Masterful, effortless. Need I say more?
Great performance!
Dziękuję!
Excellent.
She's amazing
I prefer a slightly faster version, but I think your delicate touch and precise articulation(4:23) are superior to anyone else.
Pls Natalie, more views... Your expressative no is perfect but is Beatiful!
Pato Your grammar is so bad that I don’t know what pure saying lol.
This is such a powerfull and beutifull piece. I am jealous of how good you are. 😁
WOOOOOOWWWW!!!!!!!
This piece is a Marathon. Chopin makes Rush's La Villa Strangiato seem like child's play.
Sehr schön Natalie❤
Astounding!
Wow nati 😍
WooooW :O you play wonderful :)
I lik how she plays the second phase of the 1st mvmt.
Incredible
this was beautiful.
NATALIE BRAVO!!!

Hola tu forma de tocar es increíble.
Te quería decir si no podrías tocar el intermezzo de el gran "Manuel María Ponce".

Natalie, wonderful as always. Please listen to Josep Colom on TH-cam. You will like him!!!!! You'll see.
amazing...
well done natalie
Complimenti 🎉
Beautiful! Are you planning on coming to Argentina?
You could try the B flat minor sonata by Chopin too. Chopin is not known for sonatas but this is an awesome performance
