I WONDER WHY IT IS SO NEGLECTED? THANKS FOR HELPING RESCUE IT FROM "THE DUSTBIN OF TIME." OF ALL OF THE IMMORTAL COMPOSERS WHO DIED UNDER THE AGE OF FORTY, MENDELSSOHN DIED AT AGE 38, GEORGE GERSWHIN AT AGE 38, MOZART AT 35, AND FRANZ SCHUBERT AT AGE 31, MENDELSSOHN IS FAR AND AWAY MY FAVORITE AND WAS THE MOST PROFOUND IN MY OPINION, SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF GLORIOUS HEART-STIRRING AND ULTRA-BEAUTIFUL TUNES HE CRAFTED.
This is kind of unbelievable, I found your channel not too long ago, the first video I saw was your Chopin Etude Op. 10 No. 1 and it was amazing. I don't know how I haven't found you earlier yet with your amazing playing.
I got into a conversation with a work colleague, recentlty, about classical music. He asked me who my favourite composer was. I said if you take Beethoven out of the picture (because, Duh), then it was Felix Mendohlssen ( as opposed to Fanny, his sister, who is also fantastic). The guy was a little taken aback (I think he was expecting me to say Mozart or Tchaikovski or JS Bach). So I asked him if he had ever listened to any of Mendellsohn's music. He replied, no not really. SO MISSING OUT ON LIFE!!!

I have yet to hear a rendition by Natalie that I don't absolutely love. Even some of the older ones with maybe the occasional wrong note already had that wonderful touch to them.
