| Brazilians celebrate as they bring down the Netherlands to go 6-1 at the 2021 VNL.
Brazil staged an epic comeback in the third set to sweep the Netherlands at the close of Day 7 of the 2021 FIVB Men's Volleyball Nations League and advance to 6-1.
Here's the reaction after the game, from the virtual Mixed Zone:
Freek de Weijer (The Netherlands): "First of all it's a pleasure for me to play at this kind of level, but in that case it's really odd to lose the third set like this. We were 23-19 ahead and we lost 25-27. Before the match we knew that it will be really hard, because we know Brazil's level, we know that they can play really well. But the third set was the oddest one. I think that we improved our level compared to the previous games, because looking at the first matches it was hard to find connections and the rhythm and if you look now the rhythm is already a little bit better. We have to play more in transition and in covering. In my opinion it's good to see that we increased our level, but it's just not enough."
Mauricio Souza (Brazil): "I think we played well, but we made too many mistakes. We will train hard to play better in the next games. Thanks to Leal's serve we managed to close this game in three sets and it is very important for us, because we gained three points. We talked about it in the locker room that we have to play hard and all together."

Netherlands block and defense positions were messed up in the first two sets. However, they gave good competition in the third one. Also, Nimir has a great spike form. Also, those massive blocks. Many spikers are good because of their height, but Nimir has a great form as well.
