The best players would be Micah Christenson and Erik Shoji their easily top 3 in their positions.
My favorite to watch are Defalco and Smith who have some insane plays.

David Smith ages like fine wine, he's 37 and an undersized middle blocker getting the better of Isac and other top tier players while having a great hitting percentage. The fact he's such a respectful person on and off the court is also really cool.
I was also shocked by his performance in this year's VNL because him and Holt underperformed big time last year especially in the Olympics.
He also has really nice aesthetic technic of hitting) imho all other MB’s look like jumping trees
I didn’t know he’s 37 and couldn’t believe it. He’s definitely an extraordinary player. Btw I wonder where you get the hitting percentage.

As I have said David Smith leads this team works with them to strengthen their mind then body. Yes David is 37 as I said in many other videos people couldn't believe. Yet I see below someone is reading my comments.
He is working hard with DeFalco and has been for three years. He still has work to do with him and some of the young ones.
David signed another two year season in Poland with Eric. David is in better shape mentally and physically than anyone on the team. Well Micha is there because they put God first their family and respect for every player. Again DeFalco has a way to go as if you watched or highlights he still shows to much negativit emotion on plays lost.
I hope they finish strong and get stronger together for World Championship. USA Faith, Hope, Love Believe, Trust each other.

There is no official reason, he had an incredibly long season with Perugia and needed a break before world championships.

Defalco's spike has an extra pop. How impressive that he maintained almost the same acceleration of all of his swings.
However, he can't seem to conceal his body language and facial expressions when things go bad - this might be one of those intangibles that will make or break him and also the team collectively.

Taylor is not playing indoor anymore, he's playing beach volleyball now. Anderson is still resting, but he will be joining the team for Paris 2024.
