You’re welcome! Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment. Hopefully many people will learn and figure out what that little lever is on the left-hand side of the steering wheel. LOL
I think it will come to design preference. I heard it will still have the same engine options and transmission. The 2022 looks like it came from 2013 but this current one still looks so futuristic.
i like the sport hatch 10th gen. The 2022 model looks like a baby accord, and with such little difference in price why not just buy an accord if you want that meh look.
Have a 19 sport touring 6sp. Reg gas, no problem, me and 2 ppl and mountain bike inside. Yes it's possible. Stereo isn't bad esp with the sub. Weak spot is the stock tires. Drive cas, and the gas is good, but u can have ur fun too. Yes tech is old, but as a drive, it's pretty fun, and puts a smile on my face. Keep buying sticks folks.
In Australia 2021 VTI-S 1.8 ltr aspirated run out $31000 drive away AUD if you could find one now.New Gen 11 coming December is only in 1.5 turbo and most rumours say it will start around $45000.
I always appreciate your style of reviewing. In my opinion, despite the Civic being one of the older models on its segment, it’s still an impressive contender. I think I would go for the Sport Touring Hatchback with the 6 Speed if I was I in the market for a new car.
Exactly my plan as soon as the local dealer calls me about the 2022. If I ran into a 21 sport touring 6-speed I'm not sure I would have the control to not buy it instead of waiting but I'm trying.
For 2021 civic sport hatchback, does it have a blind sport mirror or sensor? I’m used to driving with those so I need to know before buying one. Thanks!
Does using paddleshifters damage your transmission? I've had bad luck with transmissions and just got a 21 sport hatch. Love it so far. Alot to learn about it coming from an 09 Forrester
I don’t think so. I don’t have one, but from what I heard about paddle shifters in general they have different things in place to prevent you from damaging your transmission or engine. For instance, it will deny an upshift if your speed is too low, and then vice versa. If you’re going like 70+ mph and try to downshift to 2nd gear, it won’t allow it. Hope that answers your question.
2 things annoy me so much about this car: 1. All the black plastic on front n back bumper. In person, it looks even worse. No function to them at all, why they are there I have no clue. 2. Climate control button. Why the hell do u have to push a button to access the hvac? It's such an unnecessary extra step that's driven me nuts ever since I first saw the interior of this gen. '22 Civic looks good to me. Had my eyes on the hatch for quite a while, need a car by end of yr. Hope it doesn't disappoint 👏👏
You don’t have to press the climate button to control the HVAC. The Air/Heat can be turned on and off using the button/knob on the right side of the infotainment system. The temperature can also be changed with the left knob. You can also change which zone you want the air to be blown to by pressing any one of the corresponding zone buttons between the two knobs.
The 2022 looks like a POS. No Thanks! Not interested in a BORING Cookie Cutter looking pile of crap to drive. BUY A 2021! Can't wait to see how they mess up the Type R. That is of course if it's even possible to make a Type R in a 2022 version. Sorry Honda, you made a mistake on this one.
happy to see someone who agrees with me. One of the reason why im getting the 2021 is because of how unique it looks the 2022 looks so boring and too simplistic

Glad I leased one and I might actually buy it at the end of the lease. The car is just aesthetically exceptional!
My Wife just bought this exact same car. We love the White. She didnt want to wait for the 2022 hatch lol.

6 speed manual is best. Was on the highway in a big city and brakes failed but was able to downshift quickly and get to the side.
Thanks for the blinker tutorial...much needed for so many people

That made me like and sub, so many people ignore that feature on cars and it drives me insane.
2021 was great. They added sound deadening material on the fenders and floors. It's quiet
I agree the carpeted wheel wells make it very quiet

2022 better interior but downgrade on the exterior
Not a fan of those pop up touch screen displays they seem so out of place

Exactly my thoughts. I'd rather cop the 2.0 accord over the accord abortion known as the 11th gen civic 🤮

Is there an Accord hatchback with a manual?
As I stated in one of your other videos, I am very impressed with the 2021 Civic Hatchback Sport!

Thank you for taking the time to watch and share, Vic!
Loved your humor on the blinker. A lot of people don’t use them and it makes me so mad!
LOL Thank you, Marcus!

I wanted the six speed but it’s rare as hen’s teeth. The CVT does an admirable job of imitating an automatic, though. It works fine.
Cool Civic Sport 2021 … nice test drive dude…. Cool video
Thank you!
Very under appreciated model for mpg and comfort. Nice video Tom
Thank you, Tom!
Keep making videos man your channel is going to grow lots :) 👍🏽 Love your stuff
Thanks for the tip on the blinkers

@@Kickenwing13 Now that I’ve seen pictures of the ‘22 Hatch with accessories, I may be in the same boat. 👍🏾
I wanted one of these but couldn't do done at a reasonable price with everything going on now.
Sorry to hear that.
Timing chain or timing belt on these / the 6 speed manual?
I want to know if there was anything on the smoker in the background, about :45 in
LOL unfortunately not.

Certain models do yea
Nope not this one
How’s the AC
AC works great!
2021 > 2022... look-wise. 2022 looks like an accord.
2022 looks bad lmao

Where's the video of the salesmans car?
Waiting for 2022 I got an 2017 and love it and love the new design
Have you had problems with Oil dilution?i am interested in a hatchback.
I’m waiting for the 22. I’m not fond of this ‘racer boy’ look.

My 19 civic hatch sport is in 6mt and I wouldn't want it any other way
Thank you for taking the time to watch it leave a comment.
manual pls
Sorry but I want a six speed. Manuel cars just feel better in my opinion
Agreed!

The 22 is just a really bad copy of a Kia stinger no thanks that’s why I’m buying the 2021
Update: decided to just get a VW Jetta GLI instead
Thank you for sharing and congratulations on your purchase!
