I always wanted a car that I can fit multiple bodies in the trunk space. Honda should make that their top-selling point.
I’ve got a 2020 exactly like yours, but with the six speed. One year ago today I picked it up. It’s a blast to drive, and I couldn’t be happier. Best Civic in years. This generation is going to be hard to follow!
If my local dealers had a manual, I'd get one but unfortunately manuals are hard to find in my area. But I'm happy with my cvt!

I have the exact car and year. My 5 are:
1: the styling
2: safety features
3: color
4: gas mileage
5: performance
Hate/dislike
1: wheel gap
2: infotainment is sluggish
3: floor board in back is pretty thin/weak
4: wheels (prefer the satin black on the Si)
5: I HATE the “shark fin” antenna! To be fair, lots of automakers have them.

I just picked up my 2021 Civic Sport Touring after upgrading from the 2017 Sport. I'm loving the lane sense, heated seats and other features. I definitely would like to upgrade the upper spoiler.
I ultimately chose the civic hatchback for camping lol. Love how spacious it is.

I got the hatchback sport with the manual transmission and it's a blast to drive
my 5:
* handling/steering
* economy- total ownership cost is relatively low
* utility- hatch cargo space
* looks- they took a risk on the design and i like when companies do that
* reliability/longevity
Cargo space is a massive selling point. I’m opting for this over a Miata.
I own a 2020 Sport Sedan model. I agree the design was risky, but oh so sexy to me. Also I like how even with my 158hp 2.0 engine it doesn't feel slow. And lots of room like he said. But my favorite things it's affordable/reliable/timeless. I don't think this body style will age honestly. And unless you abuse it, it's a Honda it'll never quit on you.

Man, 25k!? I JUST left a lot earlier and payed 30k for the same trim (in Los Angeles). Probably got ripped off but supposedly they're "hot" cars and the price has gone up since May. Not sure if you'd know how true that is @Chris TimeFK7 ?

I liked the video. I also own a Gen X although mine is 2020 Sport Sedan. I also opted for the CVT just because it was better on gas. And to be fair the CVT while nothing special is from Honda. Meaning it'll get the job done, and won't leave you stranded. Yeah I'm looking at you Nissan. I love everything about my baby. The infotainment system again nothing special but it works none the less. Plus even though my 158hp 2.0 liter is slow by a lot of other cars specs. With the power to weight ratio it'll still launch you into your seat a little.

I just bought a 2019 Civic Sport (in black) and I love it! I am watching your videos for some cool suggestions to mod it but I live in the UK so some of the stuff I can't get :( I agree with all your points, I love the aggressive styling - not just the exterior but the interior too. Also, I am 6 foot 5 and I fit in fine so yeah it's spacious lol. I am still getting used to the pedal positions though (it's a manual). Anyway, nice work!

@@tawiadennis hey - yeah I'm still loving the car. It's very practical and fuel efficiency is very good. It's goes pretty well but it's no Type-R obviously. Sometimes I wish it had more power though! But it's hands down my favourite car i've owned.
I went for the base Civic Hatchback from 2020. Looks amazing, the only difference between my car and yours is that mine has lower horsepower (125HP Vs 185HP) and no exposed exhaust in the back. The spoiler looks good, im thinking about installing one myself

after a lot of research into what would be the right used compact for me, I'm going tomorrow to pick up my 2021 civic hatchback. I am looking forward to it - seems like a great car. No remote start for me with the three pedals!

I have the 2016 civic touring and I have to agree with technology on the civic is definitely the best. For a Honda, it feels sooo fancy and luxury to me. My best feature is that my car will lock on its own once I parked and get out. I didn’t find out about this until couple months later. You can change this in the settings of your radio screen if yours is a keyless entry.
What’s difference between touring and regular sport hatchback
@@damienbasulto9626 the civic comes in multiple trims. Starting at LX, sport, ex, touring, etc. civic comes in sedan, hatchback, or coupe

@@damienbasulto9626 it’s just the features in the car. For the touring, it has a sunroof, heated seats, brakes for you if you’re stopping too close to a car in front of you, turning camera, etc

I like the white garnish eyebrow in rear bumper grille. I ordered a pair of chrome ones for my black Sport Hatchback. Question: When I push them onto the original eyebrows, what do I do to affix them permanently? Double-sided tape? Other?

Thinking about getting this car but I do a lot of highway driving. Are the seats comfortable after 4 hrs? My previous Civic (8th gen) was not great in the comfort department after 2-3 hrs.

You honestly should wait to mod things that aren’t bolt ons since you bought it brand new...most likely just voided your warranty by adding that intake

I agree. I was kinda dissatisfied with the look of the new Civic. They made look like a mini Accord. I drive a 2020 Black Sport Sedan with the 2.0 liter. Honestly I've never had so much fun driving this car. It looks badass, it feels badass. It's slightly big, but nimble and light on its feet.

I heard ktuner or hondata is the way to go. I will eventually do it one day on the car. Fpr a future video..

@@chris_timefk8 do you know how fast they are to 60mph? For us it 100kms and I can’t find an official time. I’m still not sure to go ahead with the tune. I got 7 years warrantee and I really do not want to void that.

Love the looks. It has like a body kit and center dual tip exhaust. Looks more sportier than the ex and has more hp. I didn't need the heated seats or sun roof. My motorcycle is white so I got a white car to match. Beautiful color too!

I own the 2018 civic sport…love mine also! The only thing I hate about it is driving in the snow….are their specific tires you have that would help? I still have the stock tires and they suck
You can never go wrong with a set of Blizzak tires. Pricey but all you need is 2 winter tires and mount them on the front.

When you unlock door. The only light that will turn on is the center light and not the front interior lights.

4:05 lol. I’m about 5”8 maybe just under and I have a civic Sport sedan... I swear it took some getting used to when I got in the driver seat... I sat all the way back and I still felt scrunched in the driver seat for a few weeks.. I even got some pain in my left leg from so much cramping.. I was coming from driving a very spacious pick up truck so the small interior of the civic really bogged me. Eventually found my fitting and no more struggling.. feels like when you get a pair of new shoes... had to wear into my own car

Still undecided on which one to get.
An Ex has all electric seating, all clothe seating, and a moon roof. Sport has clothe and leather interior, different rims, and Manuel seat adjusters.
Why install a Ram-Air Intake. It could actually harm your car, not to mention it'll probably conflict with your car warranty.
