@@JacksSpaceGames Yes, for many years I used Google's cloud text to speech, and had tweaked their voice to make it sound how I liked it. Recently I switched over to Elevenlabs and trained their voice on the previous one from Google. It doesn't sound exactly like before, but close enough.
As always a pretty clever new feature. Thanks hips. Btw, I had an issue with 1.9 when installed the panel to access custom keys on the Machin3 Tools panel gave me an error. Console can't be open or something like that. I was going to report it to your Discord but I couldn't find any when checked. Anyway, just a heads up in case that is not only me and my messy Blender Setup. Thanks again.

After DECALmachine (and HyperCursor) MACHIN3tools is my biggest addon in terms of code base and amount of work spent on it. It has been free for 6 years, and I have released like 40 updates in that time span. Now, it needs to start carry its own weight, see machin3.io/MACHIN3tools/docs/whatsnew/#18 This Material Picker alone could be it's own addon and I could sell it for $10 easily. But it's just one of the many tools in MACHIN3tools that you can get for a mere $5.
@@MACHIN3 I will gladly accept that this is the way it should be, there really isn't any problem with that. Also I will mentally count down the days to HyperCursor.

Great work on this, sir. Well done.
Thank you kindly!
All hail MACHIN3!
Sry for the unrelated question but which Ai voice model do you use for your tts? And great work on the material picker ofc!
I am pretty sure it is made with elevenlabs

@@MACHIN3 I use Elevenlabs. Love it. I could even create my own voice. Anyway, thank you for this update. Great feature!
Very cool. Hope the new "extension" and "shade smooth" changes won't be too much of a headache for you indie devs.
We'll see about the extensions stuff. Auto Smooth is taken care of by now, and I like it. Thanks for your concern, and support mate.
best addon ever
Amazing! Nobody does UX better than you.
Thank you so much!

Please report via email instead: support@machin3.io. There is a Get Support tool in the addon prefs as well. There is a discord, but for patrons only.
this is nice but it can not assign a material for only a part of mesh, right? can only assign to single object. is that right?
Face selections are supported in edit mode too.
@@MACHIN3 wow! that is cool!
this is awesome
Thanks boss!
