  • Join one of Europe's fastest growing running teams - Berlin Track Club as they prepare for the Berlin Half Marathon. In this long tempo run at Grunwald in west Berlin, the team are trialling the Nike Vaporfly 3.

    I love the Comradery with these guys. Really makes you feel all warm and fuzzy.. Isn't it incredible these days where you can just throw on a pair of shoes and be content with how they are.. I remember as a younger runner, it used to take a few runs to really get a nice feel out of a pair of shoes. Then you just feel that instant connection with your feet and it's a joyous occasion each run. Nice vid Matty.. Always appreciate you doing what you do best and getting this stuff out there for us.

      Terrible shame what shoe tech is doing to the sport. I switched to barefoot/ minimal in 2018 because it felt like the right choice, I was never comfortable in regular shoes and regularly had patellar tendinitis. Still being fairly competitive at my age it's a good feeling to beat the majority on my Vapor Gloves. But the most important thing is getting to the heart of the matter - it changed my running form beyond any expectation and actually increased overall performance without any doubt. In fact I hardly ever wear anything but the Vapor Gloves year round. Recommend it to anyone.

    Great workout and video as always. Very jealous, would love to have a group to train with like this, rather than slog it out alone.
    Do we know what the rest intervals between reps was?

      The whole session was:
      3km + 2 x 2km + 5 x 1km
      // Rest 3min after the 3k and 2min after 2k's and 1k
      's // Pace Progression HM to 10k Pace

    The drills also provide a mindset shift from a beta wave state of stress to an alpha wave state of flow.

      I think those drills have the purpose to provoke strange responses on YT.

    Fühl mich bei dem Aufwärmtraining höchstens in die 6C zurückversetzt, aber nicht zum Laufen motiviert
